I believe it does exist and to me, hell is eternal life without God.

To believe in hell first you have to think that a soul can feel pain- as in swimming in a lake of fire. We're going to leave our pain feeling bodies here in the grave. Then you have to believe a kind and forgiving God would sent His people to such a thing. I sincerely believe that "Hell" is for people who don't get to heaven, knowing that they could have gone to this wonderful place but are condemned to stay in limbo and think about what a good time people in heaven are having and they will never be able to. It won't be guesswork or faith anymore they will KNOW.

for me, hell would be if I didn't get to the celestial kingdom after having been taught how to get there. I know the rules there, I just have to live them. So If I miss out, then I'm in hell because I could have done it.

Yes

To me, hell is naraka, a state of mind. When you are caught in Naraka you use hatred and anger as self defense tools, to ward off attacks that are, for the most part, imagined. When there isn't an enemy to attack, the anger and hatred turn inward, sending you into deeper states of mental suffering.

this is how i see it.... if you believe in God you must believe in the Devil... if you believe in Heaven, you must believe in Hell.

1. yes
2. "For God's foolishness is wiser than human wisdom, and God's weakness is stronger than human strength"
1 Corinthians: 1-25
one of my favorite verses... so i have no idea

for the fun of discussion... some feel that Hell is right where we are now; here on Earth. I think their reasoning is that this is the worst we will see... take a step back and look at what we are faced on a daily basis! Wars, senseless killings, robberies, lust, more hate and judging than loving... basically the exact opposite of what God intended. because God first created us to live along with Him, in PERFECT harmony; no killing, hate, death, etc. forever!! until we screwed it up... now we have this.... peachy little place! hahaha

As an actual 'place' in the Universe? No.

Depression, suicidal, loneliness, poor, suffering. In pain.

I do not believe in hell. It is a silly christian invention used to frighten the crap out of potential non-believers.

Weeping and gnashing of teeth,,,doesn't sound too appealing. That's why I'm headed towards a place where there is no more sorrow,no more pain and a pretty awesome mansion . Praise God .

Yes. It sucks. It is a place that is specifically designed to torture you in everything you fear and loathe. You will create your own punishment and it will be perfect. Perfectly suited to you. Not a nice place at all.
