Are you kidding? I'd love to get those sheets as a present any time! Sheets are the most underrated gifts of all time. And yet, they're the best present one could ever get specially if they're 1000 thread count and Egyptian cotton no less!

My mom loves her expensive sheets. I guess it just depends on the kind of person she is. My mom also cried when we got her a new vaccuum because she is was so excited. Does she have any 1000 count sheets? If she doesn't, then the sheets would be a good gift. If she is used to them - I would go with something else.

I don't think its a matter of a right or wrong answer - but 1000-thread count sheets would make a really elegant gift.
I mean - what can you really buy your parents? My mom is very difficult to buy clothes for, and she pretty much has all that she needs, so this is really a thoughtful idea. Don't know your mom - but I think that she would really like the idea because it's probably not something she would think to indulge in herself.
I know mine would not! :)
Merry Christmas!

Yes, you are right, I have given sheets to my sister and she absolutely loved them. I don't know about 1000 counts, I have never seen that count and seems expensive, perhaps the 500 to 750 count range, still very nice.

You both are in your OWN opinions LOL As for me,I think giving your Mother such a luxury gift would be great,Satin I am not so sure about, what about the cotton ones instead? Satin is too slippery LOL What about getting her a nice robe instead, made of Egyptian Cotton?

I don't know who is right because I dont know your mother. Is that something she always talks about? In that case get them.

If she has never mentioned anything along those lines, I would recommend a spa treatment at a local salon. Make her feel like a queen for a day :)

Really I think it is the thought that goes into it and the way it is presented. It is nice that you are thinking of Mom, no matter what you wind up buying.

1000 thread count sheets are a luxury item and usually very expensive so I think your mother would love to get them.....this shows a degree of thoughtfulness on your part that moms don't often get from their boys so kudos to you....you are a thoughtful child.

My Mom asked for luxury sheets for Christmas, so I got her some, and I got some for my brother and his wife as well. I have asked for them in the past and received them, and been very thankful to receive sheets that were nicer than what I would have bought for myself. Good Luck!!
