This is my 2nd post of the night here. I am going through such terrible emotional pains now and I hope you guys dont mind posting again.
There are things in life that I am just lost, confused, and can't understand. I will list them below and hopefully some people can provide me with insights.
1. Why do innocent, good people have to die and suffer?
2. Why does life have to be unfair?
3. Is it your fault if you were born with terminal illness?
4. If you were born gay, how are you supposed to live with that for the rest of ur life? Isn't the Bible against homosexuality?
5. Why didn't God save tens of millions of innocent people, mostly civilians during WWII? How could He possibly let such horrible mass-scale atrocities happen? Why didn't He intervene?
6. Where is the world going seriously? Maybe it is just me, but I notice people getting more evil, greedy, losing conscience, moral values, violence happening all over the world.

1. First off, Suffering is part of a fallen world. Second, God shows his Glory and Grace through the hard times. If we never suffered, we would never get to see God's grace.. I mean Ive had some bad things happen to me that others wonder "how can I want to go to church" and all I have to say is that Through the storm, I saw his grace and mercy and we cannot see the whole picture. we see a tiny point in time. God see's the whole universe, we have to remember that. Even if we don't see the point to why hes letting us go through this... we have to trust there is a point. God never gives us more then we can handle..
2. depends on how you look at life i guess. we deserve nothing... We should be thankful for all the wonderful things and not be dwelling on the bad. We are living in a fallen world...
3. not at all, but like I said... we never know Gods plan... I m ean who knows, maybe a baby was taken to heaven and everyone thinks its so horrible but what if that baby would have grown up and ended up going to hell? Maybe God saved that baby.. we never know the whole story. we must remember one word: FAITH
4. born gay? I am not sure i believe that. I know this isnt politcally correct, but I don't care. I am not saying the gay person chose this... but they were not born gay. Maybe something has happened to them, sin has come into their life and this is how they got into it... even if it was at a young age. The bible is against homosexuality which is why we know that you are not born that way. I have met people who were gay, came to church, overcame their sin through prayer and now they are straight. Homosexuality is just a sin, like any other sin.
5. Things happen... its life. You cant ask why did God let this happen and that happen to EVERYTHING. I mean like I have been saying... we live in a fallen world. Adam and Eve ate from the tree....
6. To be honest, open Revelation and you will see where this world is going. This world is going to get worse and worse and I will tell you this much, theres a lot going on in the middle east with Isreal that will shock you once you read revelation and see the corrolation.. so read the bible... you will see where its going.

last advice: i dont no everything and i cant quote bible verses but i will tell you every question you asked is talked about in this book that is writen beautifully with amazing answers and all written so perfectly.. called the "Case for Faith" by Lee Strobel... its amazing and I guarentee you these questions will be answered... another good one by him is "Case for Christ" proves that Christ is real... Good luck and e-mail if you have any other questions or want to talk.

well to #1....Jesus was innocent and perfect, but look at what happened to Him...but there was a reason!! If life was fair we wouldnt need God. its not ur fault u were born w/ a terminal illness, but a lot of people are stronger emotionally b/c of it.....yes the Bible is against homosexuality.....God changes ppl....and I dont want to offend anyone, but i believe homosexuality is a choice, and i know i will get thumbs downs for that one, but its my opinion.....to #5....something we as humans and our finite minds cannot understand b/c the ways of God are infinite. The world is headed toward the rapture...the Bible says things will get worse towards the end times and its all around.....hope i helped some....Jesus loves u!

I will attempt to answer question 4

the same way christians will struggle with being selfish, unkind, lustful, greedy and all other manifestations of the human flesh. For such evil, the bible also promised condemnation and not just homosexuality alone.

Homosexuality when seen as a manifestation of our fallen and sinful nature allows us to understand that the solution is also the same - faith that on the last day, we will be fully transformed and finally freed from our sinful selves.

1. There are no "innocent" people. We have all sinned and have a sin nature. We are born into this world as sinners and, unless we be saved through Christ, will die in our sins. Death, disease and suffering are a result of the corruption of sin.

2. Fair? Do you really want God to be fair? If so, we would all face to consequences of our sin. Was it fair that Jesus took on the wrath of God meant for His people so they could be saved? I don't want God to be fair, I need His grace and mercy. Again, inequity on earth is a result of the pollution of sin.

3. Again, because of the infection of sin, disease and illness are common among mankind,

4. It is not proven that anyone is born homosexual. The studies show that it is more a result of family upbringing. In most cases, you will a homosexual will come from a home with a strong, sometimes overbearing mother and a weak, docile or absent father.

5. You must remember that God's ways are not our ways, His thoughts higher than our thoughts. As stated earlier, sin brought death, war and disease into the mix. Would you really want God to step in and stop all evil? If so, none of us would survive. We are all sinners and worthy of death. Do you recall this passage from Luke?

Luk 13:1 And some were present at the same time reporting to Him about the Galileans, whose blood Pilate mixed with their sacrifices.
Luk 13:2 And answering, Jesus said to them, Do you think that these Galileans were sinners beyond all the Galileans, because they suffered such things?
Luk 13:3 No, I say to you, But if you do not repent, you will all perish likewise.
Luk 13:4 Or those eighteen on whom the tower in Siloam fell, and killed them, do you think that these were sinners beyond all men who lived in Jerusalem?
Luk 13:5 No, I say to you, But if you do not repent, you will all perish likewise.

Jesus didn't say, "Oh, sorry about that, what a tragedy". No, He knew that death, even tragic death was part of this broken world. He was more interested in your spiritual condition.

6.2Ti 3:1 But know this, that in the last days grievous times will be upon us.
2Ti 3:2 For men will be lovers of themselves, money-lovers, braggarts, arrogant, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
2Ti 3:3 without natural feeling, unyielding, slanderers, without self-control, savage, haters of good,
2Ti 3:4 betrayers, reckless, puffed up, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,
2Ti 3:5 having a form of godliness, but denying the power of it; even turn away from these.
2Ti 3:6 For of these are those creeping into houses and leading silly women captive, the ones having been heaped with sins, being led away by various lusts,
2Ti 3:7 always learning, but never being able to come to a full knowledge of the truth.
2Ti 3:8 But in the way Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so also these withstand the truth, men having been corrupted in mind, found worthless concerning the faith.
2Ti 3:9 But they will not go further, for their foolishness will be plain to all, as also that of those became.

The world is ending and this too had been predicted in Scripture.

You need to go talk with your pastor. The standard answers, and truth, is God doesn't do evil, Satin does. Adam and Eve had it all and ruined it. Because of them evil and death entered the world. I realize you need more that this, but this and a prayer is all I can offer in this format.
