It seems to me that every opportunity a black person gets to use the "race card" they do? I know the common response will be becuse of slavery, but open your eyes people. SOME white people's ancestors enslaved SOME black people's ancestors 150 years ago. Mine came here 120 years ago and lived in the North, no history of slave ownership. Yet I have to walk on egg shells daily for fear that I may inadvertantly offend a black person. While it is true that white racist groups do still exist in this country, they are shunned by a vast majority of the white community, but black organiztions led by Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton are thriving in both communities. I am not saying that these organizations are neccessarily racist, but they do envoke a racial divide. We are 40 years past the civil rights movement and have for all intents and purposes become equal. We do not need government enforcement telling us how to be equal and diversified, people will do this on their own.WEAREALLONE

....be they wives, daughters, mothers or sisters are going to do a lot of superb cooking and cleaning for their menfolk? They may not have to make any sauces, since men like doing that (indeed quite a few women may find they get quite a lot of sauce on them with all this leisure time)..oops sorry, have to stop this question midway as the Nobel committee are on the phone

World has changed tremendously and although we have advanced in many ways, violence, war, sufferings has grown larger than any of our technological devepment.
It is time that we realize that what we are enjoying today is something we should appreciate, because thre are many out there who don;t even know how many seconds they can survive.

Bear with me. We like our neighbors, they're all good people, but we rarely see them. Our cat lost his collar a few days ago when he escaped out the door. I got a new collar for him, but he never came back. That was 4 days ago, going on five. He's chipped, but nobody's called. We're worried he's trapped in the neighbor's garage. And that's how our previous cat died, in their garage, and they were so apologetic and offered to get us a new cat, which we declined at the time. It's just that they rarely use their garage, so our kitty could be locked in.

What's the most polite way to knock on the door and ask to check inside their garage to see if our kitty is in there??
