a) You believe that the Bible is flawless; it is the word of God and contains no errors. Every event in the Bible happens as they are described. The Earth is only 6,000 years old. Those who do not believe that Jesus was the son of God will go to Hell.

b) You believe that the Bible does contain the word of God in it, but also has been influenced by man and many different generations. You believe that many things can not be taken directly as they are stated in the Bible, as they are metaphorical. You may or may not believe that all non-Christians will be sent to Hell.

c) You believe that Jesus is the son of God, and that many of his teachings were as the Bible states, but it can not be used as a guide to Christianity or be expected to represent Jesus or God. Trying to get closer to Jesus and living a pure life, striving to better yourself is all that is required of us in this life. Choosing another religion besides Christianity will not recieve eternal punishment in Hell.

Dont they know its illegal?

Exposing minors to porn is as bas as posession of child porn.

I request IP adresses from Yahoo of all of these offenders be forwarded to police. I encourage you all to ask Yahoo to do this as well. Mocking holy things is enough. Insulting each other is more than enough. I have seen more ignorance and grammer errors here than I should have ever been exposed to.

But I for one, would like to draw the line at sex crimes with minors.

Anyone agree? Anyone in?

Blessings
David

From everything I have read and studied, it appears to me that the Muslim religion is not very peaceful after all. Bottom line is that, if you don't convert...you must die. Someone tell me if this is accurate.

Could it be that we are the largest voting block in the Republican party, and that scares them, so they have to trot out their left-wing wackos, and attempt to quell us into submission? Well, it will not work.

I am at times a door knob. I try to force G-d's hand. I insult people and try to teach with love and conviction like Pharisees instead of truth and love like Yeshua Jesus.

I have been convicted by G-d's Holy Spirit and I repent. I am sincerely sorry for my questions earlier, they are removed. I have done this twice now, when will I learn?

I did not behave like a true Christian but like a sinful human. It promises this in Romans, but I hate fulfilling it so often. I apologize to anyone affoended and most of All to G-d for such weak use of His gifts.

I apologize because its the Christian thing to do, admit a wrong. This is my best example of Christianity tonight. Sorry.
And I thank Him for convictimg my heart! I rejoice in that.

Sincerely
David the door knob.

Personally I'm not an atheist, I'm more the kind of person who believes there's something out there, but not neccesarily the big G. In highschool I regularly partook in debates in some of the christian clubs and we had a good time exploring eachothers' differences.
I'm from denmark, though, so I guess I also in part wonder why americans have to polarize everything to such extremes sometimes.

from what i can see from the questions i posted you all agree with me that we are now apart of Gods family. but some of you feel it is impossible to observe all the parts of the Old Testament that Jesus instructed us to observe. including the Sabbath and the Holy Days. God and His Son should rank highest on our obedience chart. I dont understand how obeying all the commands Jesus laid out for us is so hard. I never said it would be easy. but Isnt God worth the Sacrifice?

I was reading the responses to my question, "Why did God kill all of Egypt's firstborn children in Exodus?", and I saw basically these reasons:

(1) Pharaoh wouldn't give into extortion, so it's really his fault. Sort of a "your head impacted my baseball bat" argument.

(2) The Egyptians did it first, which apparently makes mass slaughter of children morally correct.

(3) God WARNED the Egyptians, so, it's fair game. Did He let the 1 month olds know why they had to die at the hand of an "angel of death"?

(4) Who can question God's motives?

So, given this summary of Biblical morality, can you seriously say that the Bible is a credible source for human morality? When is killing children ever justified? Did God ABORT the would-be firstborn children?

Or perhaps, if we write off this story as weird and ancient mythology, just like the rest of the Bible, we can make moral progress.

So, I ask you, can you credibly say the Bible is the source of any decent system of morality?
