Dont they know its illegal?

Exposing minors to porn is as bas as posession of child porn.

I request IP adresses from Yahoo of all of these offenders be forwarded to police. I encourage you all to ask Yahoo to do this as well. Mocking holy things is enough. Insulting each other is more than enough. I have seen more ignorance and grammer errors here than I should have ever been exposed to.

But I for one, would like to draw the line at sex crimes with minors.

Anyone agree? Anyone in?

Blessings
David

I totally agree. Jokes or not, these things should not be allowed on a site that children are using. I, for one, am tired of seeing disgusting pics, questions, and answers. Freedom of speech is one thing, but you must also be respectful to others, and what they're doing isn't.

Yes I agree, and I like the way that you said it, especially the part about being exposed to ignorance and grammar errors. lol. .

I have asked Yahoo why they don't monitor this section. It is the natural place for every wacko in the world to be draw to. Children should not see these things and their parents would not want it. Some have stopped allowing their children to come to Yahoo Answers for this reason. You would think that Yahoo would care about its own reputation.

Like all things, those who display 'adult' avatars fall into three categories...

1) People who know...

2) People who don't know...

3) People who know but don't really give a rat's butt and carry on doing it anyways...

All you can really 'ping' these people on is not abiding by the code of conduct. After that, people are covered by their "right to free speech and expression" - I may not agree with the "religious right", but I at least respect their right to voice their opinions.

As for the "grammer errors", you (as a bad speller) may want to give them a break. Not everyone on this planet speaks English as a first language, and I admire anyone who makes the effort to communicate in a language foreign to them. Phonetic spelling is good enough for me, and I'm bright enough to dope out their intent if they pose a good argument.

You will find that the "sex crimes with minors" thing is covered by the various legal bodies around the world.

Ever since the right wingers lost the recent elections, they have been looking for some outpost of rage to cling unto. Too bad, that in 08, the masses are going to ask "where did all our jobs go?" and " how come we wasted 500 billion in Iraq?".... Ah shucks, lets rally the troops with some naughty pictures and threaten to lash out with the kind of crusader like rage, that only a blood thirsty religious freak can produce. To arms.. to arms!!!! Onward Bushtards... these infidels are now using democracy as a tool for evil. Lets us take one issue and run with it, till we get the masses to forget the bloody corpses we have stacking in our own living rooms.

Sometimes people just don't know any better. What they lack on the inside, takes its turn on the outside. Best thing to do is to pray for them and not be judgmental. They'll get caught eventally. Just let God know how you feel, and tell Him you don't think what they do is right. As the saying goes...'let go and let God'...something I had to do myself. Hopefully the kids don't see it, although there is 'my space' where there are more opportunities for sex offenders than you can imagine.

Do you mean you can create an socially unacceptable avatar? Obviously if someone has created an illegal avatar, who is responsible for reporting it? Yes, every Yahoo! Answers user, just like you.

Regarding your own avatar. Are you "mocking holy things"? Insulting others including their ignorance and grammar (yes your misspelled grammar)?

People who live in glass houses, shouldn't throw stones.

I totally agree with you. It is illegal with minors and it is offensive to us adults.

I report them anytime I see someone with this kind of avatar. If enough people report them, perhaps they will be stopped. Let's hope so.

Yahoo is in the business to make money, thats all they care about. When they get sued they will change their policy, but not before then.
We need to hit yahoo in the checkbook, I don't think anything else will work.

In the name of Gaia, and on behalf of Ariel Merlin, I will support your cause. My parents, in-laws and son will definitely agree, for I am a father as well. May you be blessed with all of Gaia's bounty.
