I'm a christian and I hate the deushbags like that!! Those are christians who think they know everything just cause they skimmed the Bible n follow the commandments.
My mom is one of those people. What a pain!!
Seriously, what's wrong with other aspects?
This also goes for atheists who try to force basically their side of the story on you, too. geez, I have atheist friends but none of them are that annoying. Seriously, do they need an atheist club (n do christians need all these other crappy clubs?)
anyways, I must apologize for freaks like that in my religion. sorry.

HI, I think alot of Christians have always been Christian. They have a hard time stepping out of their own shoes to see how ridiculous the them saying they are being persecuted sounds to a non-Christian.
They have more rights than any other religious group in this country. They just don't realize it because they've never really known what religious discrimination is. They know hardly anything about anyone else's religion and they assume all sane people are Christian.
They've been born and bred on this mentality. It's this elitest thing that says that anyone that doesn't feel the same way they do must be wrong, because they must be right.
There was a guy on Youtube claiming Christmas was under attack, I did a video to respond to him. I hope you like it. It's got nice music.

I dont know of any christians around me who feel that way. We all disagree on a few things but nothing that matters. No, they do not feel you are persecuting them and i'm sure you would be a good neighbor to have.

I have to agree with RW! But I don't complain when no one becomes my doormat! I complain when I become someone elses doormat!
But the Christians 'persecution' isn't like what the Jews have, and still, experience!

Wow. It's obvious that you're going through a tough time.
I am a Christian, and if someone I know refuses to be a Christian, I don't feel persecuted, I just pray for them more. You can disagree with us, because we know that God working in your life RIGHT NOW.

Not everyone wants to be a doormat to religion.
I will respect religion, so long as I have a right to ask questions and be myself within the context of that religion.
I tend not to like being told how to think.
Peace!

you must run into some very insecure Christians. we are commanded to love everyone whether they agree with us or not. hopefully you can have a discussion with a loving christian who won't be offended that you have not been convicted enough to convert. i never feel persecuted just bc someone isn't convinced of the Deity of Jesus.. i just figure that people are big enough to make their own decisions if a friendly discussion won't change their mind about Jesus. beating them with a bible won't either.

You deciding not to accept the truth does not persecute me.
Get off your high horses. In many countries including the middle east Christians are being persecuted for their faith by their government.
Persecution meaning being beaten, arrested, put in jail, targeted financially so they can't feed their family.
Not your self centered narcissistic definition.

I don't know who you've been talking to - but persecution is when people attack you because of your beliefs.
So it depends on what exactly you mean by 'disagree' with them. Were you just 'not agreeing' or were you calling them names and abusing them?
