I am interested in toys specifically that are to help creativity, imagination, and intelligence. I do not want the regular kid-calmers, child-pacifiers, tantrum-soothers. I want to know about toys that can help increase I.Q.'s in children.

First I'd like to say that I don't agree or disagree with PETA's actions/goals. I also believe that all life is important and should not be prematurely ended without good reason.

For instance, if someone smacked a mosquito, which most people do, that's acceptable. But when a dog or cat, for instance is killed intentionally, then PETA comes into the picture.

I would just like to know where they as a group draw the line when acting to protect certain animals.

She says Angels are not people they are just made from god. So why have we been taught that when a loved one dies, they will be an angel or just another person in heaven. God chooses the people who will be angels and who will not be. I don't believe her, and sometimes she sounds very fake. People like her just want money, she can tell my the look on people's faces how a man or woman looks that they are searching for. It's easy, it's called reading people. What do you think?

We hear on the news of all the ecological issues facing the planet, has the human race got a hope in the next 25 years of going against greed and choosing to save the world for our kids. It is a big question however market forces do not show signs of acheiving enough in time....

As my body begins to shiver.
My imagination runs wild sometimes,
It seems that chaos stimulates,
My mind to a point that when I'm feeling down,
Poetry removes all the weights...
From my shoulders as I trek through the white stuff,
That covers the ground at my feet,
My tennis shoes are soaked, but the trek must continue,
To the point where the water is sweet....
To the taste of those who have grown sour,
And have no Faith in what life is about....
It seems I'm obsessed with having more happiness,
As happiness I am without..
May I pray aloud today, for forgiveness, may I leave my hate behind?
If God is paying attention, May he assist me as I unwind?
The rope that restrains my inner peace,
The one that holds me together,
Dear Lord, I ask not only for me,
But for everyone out in the weather...
Bring warmth to the souls of the lonely,
And Joy to the hearts full of sorrow,
Please, May we lie down this evening...
And awake to a brighter tomorrow?

Why do we connect things like education, art, science, getting good grades, speaking properly, being polite, and being productive as 'trying to act white?"

So does being black means that you can't enjoy all of things I mentioned above? What of the black people who do like getting good grades and speaking in a proper fashion? Are they viewed as sell outs and Uncle Tom's for wanting to better themselves?

Why do black people think like this?

For years many people have known that using the "n" word to describe a black person is completely degrading and disrespectful. I completely agree with this. One thing I don't understand is why some black people don't have a problem with calling it to someone of their own race. The explanation that if you use it with the "a" ending instead of the "er" ending makes it okay is absurd. If black people that use the "n" word in regular conversation had lived through the civil rights era or especially slavery I think they would have a much different feeling towards the word. I think it is time they stop using the word period. It is time they showed some respect to their ancestors.

This is bound to bring some nuts out of the woodwork, but I really want to know your experience? Many years ago, my friend and I saw a craft on the water in a seaside town. It was round with lights allaround it, and even as we watched, it just rose straight into the sky with no sound. We both thought the papers would be full of it the next day but there was nothing. I caught up with her a couple of years ago and she still remembered it too. The usual response we got in those days was that we were drunk or drugged or dreaming but none of those things was true.Neither of us was old enough to drink anyway.
What is your story??

Why do people find the need to ban the Lord's Prayer? They say it is because religious freedom, because it's against the law. What's going on here. Well what about the freedom to say it publicly. And when did man's law become higher then the Lord's? How is it bothering you to the point that it is becoming publicly persecuted. Sounds like one of you know who's tricks to make people not believe. I just don't get it.

reincarnation negates the idea of being punished by being sent to hell. - it means you have many many chances to evolve and ascend to higher and higher forms of being.

FYI- reincarnation goes one way- upward. you can't be born a human then devolve into an animal. this is what some people use to dismiss the possibility. the levels of consciousness between humans and animals are great, the souls are different, so this argument is moot.

Why is it that christians say that even non christians wear a cross? Have you ever seen a hindu or a jew or a muslim wearing one? I havent, have you? Now its obvious that hindus and jews and muslims all got there garbage that they wear to represent whatever trash they believe in, so why would a non christian wear a cross when its obviously a sign of the MYTH of jesus? I think if a non christian is wearing a cross they're a little confused, just like if a person who is black is wearing a chinese flag. I've never worn a cross and never will since theres no god, and anyone who actually believes as i do wouldnt wear one unless they're confused.
