I do it the night before. My friend likes to torture her family and leaves them out for a few days...that is just mean.

I don't put anything out until Christmas eve night. If it goes out before that,Santa couldn't be the one to leave it,right? MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

The night before Christmas--on Christmas eve--is when the presents usually appear. The reason: if the presents are loitering about underneath the tree, SOMEBODY is bound to "take a quick peek" or two (my family's full of little kids, and it's hard for them to resist the temptation).

Have a very, very merry Christmas!

Whenever we get them in the mail from family or friends, or whenever someone in the house wraps a gift for another family member. I'm always excited to put my gifts to my little brother and sister under the tree as soon as I wrap them just for the effect. lol

I put them under the tree after I wrap them, but I wait for nobody to be around. That way if they want to be nosey and look under the tree they could see there name and feel special……

when we were younger and still believed in santa, the presents would "appear" on christmas morning. but now that we're all older (between ages of 12 and 20), i think its special to wrap and place presents under tree as you buy them. it adds to the excitement in the lead up to christmas as you get to see more and more presents appearing.
one rule though....not allowed to shake/touch presents until christmas!

as soon as the tree is up the presents start to appear it gives the family time to shake and wonder and that is one of the best parts of Christmas
