Well, if you want to pretend you're Italian, you're at least going to have to realize that Italians CAN be light skinned with blue eyes. These Italians live in the northern part of Italy. In the southern part, they are usually dark haired and dark eyed.

As for what people think of Italians, just about everyone open-minded and educated about their culture loves them.

You're dad is probably from Northern Italy. When the Germans invaded, the Northern Italians picked up some of their traits (blond hair, blue eyes, etc.) I'm half Italian, but we are from Southern Italy. Italians rock; we do everything better.

So what is your question? Is everyone Italian? What do I think of Italians? Are we meant to make a comment about the fact that nobody thinks you are Italian? Should we remark on your light skin, or blue eyes? Or are we supposed to commend you for the fact that you are, indeed, Italian.

Jeez

Why are Italian Americans so stupid???

I'm italian 100% from Italy and i don't understand why do you shouldn't seem you italian?

Million people in italy are blondes with blue eyes
we in italy were colonized also by celts and vikings, and not only in north of italy, infact, sicily, for example, was Norman colony, and the normans came from norway and denmark

you are not italian, because you don't know what is italy and you weren't born there

I have no Italian in me at all. I am Sweedish,Dutch, German and mostly English. The Normans were light skinned and have invaded all of Europe. I believe the fact that some nationalities that have light skinned people in them are a result with crossbreeding somewhere in your ancestry with Norman invaders. That is why some Italians are fair haired and blue eyed.

Quit boasting you are an Italian because nobody cares...I don't just boast about being Moroccan and Norwegian! And Italians are white, so quit talking about none of them have blonde hair and blue eyes, of course they do. Go figure, not everyone is Italian, how stupid are you

If I have any Italian, it probably dates back to the Roman Empire... but who knows? In my part of the country, Italians are the dominant ethnicity these days, with Irish close behind.

it does seem like that, doesn't it? even my cousin in Italian (but I'm not because my aunt is my dad's sister and she married my uncle who is Italian and not related to me in any way except marriage to my aunt.)
and almost all of my friends and kids in my school are either Italian and flaunting it insanely, just Italian and normal, or are like 1% Italian or something.
