Try the Malus Maleficarium (not sure of spelling)
It was a church document about witchcraft and how to find/what to do with witches.

I remind you that this was produced by the church based on SUPERSTITION. It in no way refers to witchcraft as it is practiced today, and scholars claim it innaccurately represented the "witchcraft" (mostly herbal healing) practiced at the time.

Haley, did you even notice that she asked about the 14th and 15th century? Do you honestly think that someone should be totally ignorant of history? Perhaps it's for school. I did a report in college about religious persecution throughout history that included the claims of witchcraft and the gruesome murders carried out in religions name. Next time, how about you have a little open mind about things and think before you immediately jump to your bible thumping?

flygirl, I dont have a link for you to look it up. But I suggest you do a search for religious persecution in history. You may also like to consider researching the Salem Witch Trials. There's alot of information on it on the internet.

You'll find hundreds of links on the internet for Salem. It probably was the culmination of religious persecution during that time. Twenty people were murdered in the most disgusting manner possible due to Puritan hysteria. All on some little girls word that they were witches even though they weren't.

Its believed to have several causes but it's still completely psychotic.

OR

Your local public library. They have something called "Inter-library loan," which means that you can borrow a book from a different library.

The Malleus Maleficarum shows some of the superstitions. Keep in mind, however, that the book was condemned by the Inquisition.

Other books are the Directorium Inquisitorum and the Formicarius.

People, I hate to say it, but this probably has NOTHING to do with "worshipping the devil." I had to do a prject about the Salem WitchHunt Trials before, and that had nothing to do with that. Plus, even if someone DID want to worship the devil, they have every right to do so. It's best to keep your nose out of other people's religous prefrences.

A couple good sites that I thought might help you in the source..
