This is bound to bring some nuts out of the woodwork, but I really want to know your experience? Many years ago, my friend and I saw a craft on the water in a seaside town. It was round with lights allaround it, and even as we watched, it just rose straight into the sky with no sound. We both thought the papers would be full of it the next day but there was nothing. I caught up with her a couple of years ago and she still remembered it too. The usual response we got in those days was that we were drunk or drugged or dreaming but none of those things was true.Neither of us was old enough to drink anyway.

My story is late one night, on the shores of lake Ontario. I was a camp counsellor and sitting round a campfire with 4 of my colleagues. We all heard a strange, throbbing noise coming from the lake. We ran to the shores to look and sure enough there was a beam of really bright, pulsing white light leading to a spherical object with what seemed like a large glass nipplelike window. We all stood there just stunned as it rose to at least 100 feet and then the light was off and the saucer had vanished. All of 4 of us vividly remember this and weren't taking any drugs or drinking.

Don't waste your energy thinking about such matters. There's no Easter Bunny either. And Elvis is really dead. You saw something you couldn't identify. There's a perfectly reasonable explanation. You just don't know what it is. Perhaps a blimp?

No such thing as a UFO. People either lie about it or think they saw something that looked like a UFO. There is no plausible evidence of extraterrestrial life.
