We hear on the news of all the ecological issues facing the planet, has the human race got a hope in the next 25 years of going against greed and choosing to save the world for our kids. It is a big question however market forces do not show signs of acheiving enough in time....

They been saying that for the last 50 years but they keep moving up the end date. In twenty five years they'll be say we're a goner by 2100.

Very simply we are creations of nature....and nature will solve the problem of overpopulation by either natural disaster, plague, famine or war.
Mankind does not know enough about the world to make the statement that the planet is in ecological meltdown. The earth has cycles of plenty and famine!

Pal the only real trouble we are in is that North Korea and Iran have the nuke, and they are making plans to use it. The main problem we have is that most all people on this planet are ignoring Iran and North Korea. It is absolutely stupid to work on problems of 'perceived' global warming, when it won't matter even if it s true.

i'd say that the solution lay in people voting for the green parties, who have ALWAYS had the environment on their agenda. People too scared to vote for them, believing it will be futile. We need to show the mainstream politicians that the environment is our highest concern.
And the green parties need to have radical ideas, too.
