i haven't gone to church in like 8 years, and i don't know if i'm ready to again - but she prayed about it, and said that i should be the one, what do you think I should do?

give it a try. you'll have fun with the kids. and you'll learn SO MUCH from them. and God is real, it's been proven in MANY MANY MANY MANY ways. so why not worship him? it'll get you to heaven

Sounds like a lot of fun and a good way to reaquaint yourself with church. I say go for it!!!

it doesn't matter what i or anyone else thinks.... it's what you think. if you go not really wanting to be there - what will you be teaching the kids?! will you be showing them - you have to do this becuase your mom thinks so and that they shouldn't pray and discren for themselves?! granted they are only 6 but...

i think you too need to pray on it! good luck and God bless. maybe it;s what you need to find your own way back?!

I think it will be good if you seek the advise from a sunday school teacher. Listen to him/her may help you.

i dont think i would for sunday school however, i am not christian but i work at a christian daycare. its a great job, i dont agree with the beliefs but i dont take part in forcing the children to believe either so it doesnt bother me to much. nothing funner then working at a daycare.

I think you should make up your own mind. Or, as a get out clause, tell her you preyed as well and baby jesus said "Ooh, I don't think so, not this time".
