Same reason you can.

To some people, the questions are lame. Others are just looking for answers to questions they don't want to ask their friends, or parents. Some of the people asking the questions do not use English as their native language, so a real question may look lame to an English speaker. Also, some of the people asking the questions are younger than the person looking at them. Until you mature, and can look at a question for content through the eyes of an adult, try not to label too many of them lame.

Different strokes for different folks. Just look at the question a bit "sideways", and not as if you were speaking to an peer.

You know if your sitting here reading all these questions then have the nerve to comment about all these questions being lame then why are you reading them? No question is lame sweetheart thats how people learn is by asking a question!

what may seem lame to you could be very significant to someone else. I will agree that "like how do I get this boy to like me" may seem trivial to you but to a tween it is everything, it can be difficult for you to rember how hard those early years are. Some questions are very stupid some are very important. dont loose sight of the fact that we all have a right to be here!. Please go on and try to find a significant question in which your expertise lies, You could be the one to impact someones life with your own practical experiences!

I have to agree with you that many of the questions are lame and weird. I just don't bother to answer stupid questions. I only answer those that are serious and want an honest opinion.

i have the same exact problem. people ask the most retarded questions that either make no sense (they're written in gibberish) or they are so easy a child could know the answer

another thing i hate about this site is how if i ask a question not one single person will answer it but you will get about 20 responses

for example, look here at my question http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AuzvJvth.qy7tTeYHE4OE5Lsy6IX?qid=20061203191856AAy96OK

eventually i just got tired of people not ever answering the question so now if they respond and dont even answer the question i just report them, pisses me off

What's lame to you is gold to others. Didn't you ever have a lame question (other than this one?) We seek knowledge and because you know everything doesn't mean we all do.

This is True, I started thinking the same thing. Then I started saying to myself, "the people posting these ridiculous questions must have the IQ of a hamster". ignore things like this.

I would agree with you if you could make the difference by asking clever and meaningful questions instead.
