All day long you'll see this on this forum "There is no scientific proof that God exists". Granted the burden of proof is probably on Christians, Jews, Muslims, etc (any that follow God) that He does exist (which He does, just get used to it), but how can "science" be an absolute proof that God does not exist? Just because an experiment can be proven, how do we know that God didn't design it that way?

If soemone came up to you and handed you a box and said to you, "If you take this gift, youhave to believe in me, follow my laws, and promise to love everyone - your enemies especially, you may have this gift".

"This gift is not going to cost you anything, but I gave everything I had to insure you would have it and all the gifts that are within it."

"You cannot return it, nor can you lose it. But you MUST share it with everyone you meet".

"This gift GUARANTEES you will live eternally in peace, even though as you live, you will go thru hard times. You will know ultimate peace, even when turmoil is all around you".

Would you take this gift? Why or why not?

Has does Jesus empower you? What acts do you unselfishly do to help others and humanity? What is it that about your Christianity that differentiates your actions and disposition from other believers of different faiths and no faiths at all?

This is interesting...a question was brought up in my psychology class and i'm interested in seeing what most people believe.
Why do Women Shave their Vaginas? Why do Women feel the need to get Breast Implants?
I'm actually a firm believer in loving a woman in her natural state. I never understood women who shaved their vaginas completely bald. I find it unattractive. In an interview conducted with two strippers and one porn star, i came up with some interesting answers

One shaved the hair completely because she felt it made her look younger and more appealing to guys.

Another stated that she prefferred to have hair because it showed others she was a woman and proud of it.

The last one said she trimmed every now and then because it's visually appealing, but that she would never shave it off completely because it was gross..

What does everyone else think???

In my family Santa brings 1 package for each child unwrapped by the tree Christmas Eve. All the other presents are marked who they're from. Santas in the stores are helpers. The real Santa is never seen in public and Mrs. Santa is her husbands biggest supporter and back bone.

I am a black female, but I have a "different" look. A lot of people think I'm from India, Ethiopia or am Native American or something.

Here's the thing. Many times I've gotten this comment , "Wow! You're pretty 'cause you don't look black!" after they find out I'm neither (at least to my knowledge...who knows what I really have way down the line in my blood).

Is that REALLY a compliment?

couldn't it be both? as in- there is a Divine process that directs the evolutionary process. Couldn't God be the energy behind Life itself?

I went up to my professor and asked him a question. As he was answering me he caressed/rubbed my upper arm. I was froze stiff thinking omigosh. He didn't have a learing look and he did it in front of other students like it was no big deal--but it was too friendly. I don't even really know him, I just basically say hi to him twice I week when class meets. He touched my arm before when I asked a question, but I took as no big deal, since a lot of people touch arms while talking. If he would have just placed his hand on my shoulder, that wouldn't have bugged me. It was that he was moving his hand around my upper arm that freaked me out. I never saw him do this to any other students. I have never seen ANY teacher/professor do that to a student before. Heck, even my dad won't do that, unless I am crying my head off and he is trying to comfort me. Other than that, I think it was inappropriate what my professor did. I am not sure if it is considered under sexual harrassment though

Okay, so there are some "little" things that really bug me. But all these little things start adding up to one big problem so I wanna tell you all the things my roommates do, and you tell me if I'm overreacting. Roommate A. never helps clean the bathroom and kitchen. He never pitches in for toilet paper and slams his door right next to my room even in the middle of the night. He has a girlfriend that comes over ALL THE TIME so I also have to share my living space with her. Roommate B. lets his dog up on MY couches when I don't even let my own dog up there. He leaves MY t.v. on that I generously donated to the living room. Eats my food and leaves his trash all throughout the house. At least the first roommate confines his trash to his stinky bedroom. Roommate C. is my ex. He's not so bad 'cause I can still tell him what to do but for example, he never makes up the bed. He also never has cleaned the bathroom and he too doesn't pitch in for household necessities. So whaddya think?

What's the big deal about the points system on Yahoo! Answers? You don't get anything. You just dole out free advice. Heck, even Anne Landers get payed. Why do we do this?

Would you date someone who admitted they were involved with porn? I know that most typical guys would immediately answer "Hell Yeah" and most women would answer "No"....but to those close minded individuals who are quick to judge...really think about the question...the person...and the profession.
This is just something i conjured up with some friends and wanted to see how most people think.
