Natural Women v.s. Other?

Question

This is interesting...a question was brought up in my psychology class and i'm interested in seeing what most people believe.
Why do Women Shave their Vaginas? Why do Women feel the need to get Breast Implants?
I'm actually a firm believer in loving a woman in her natural state. I never understood women who shaved their vaginas completely bald. I find it unattractive. In an interview conducted with two strippers and one porn star, i came up with some interesting answers

One shaved the hair completely because she felt it made her look younger and more appealing to guys.

Another stated that she prefferred to have hair because it showed others she was a woman and proud of it.

The last one said she trimmed every now and then because it's visually appealing, but that she would never shave it off completely because it was gross..

What does everyone else think???

I wouldnt shave mine either, because I am a woman not a little girl. I think trimming is good, its like good grooming.

I shave my vagina because I dislike pubic hair. I think it's cleaner and neater when it's trimmed down. I dont' take it all off though. I just shave it so that there's "peach fuzz" at the top of the crease. It really has nothing to do with what men like or what society says looks good. It's personal preference.

I think its a function of those small bikinis and thongs, I don't think you will find too many women of size doing such dumb and painful things.
As an older woman, I believe in good grooming and neat appearance, and the use of socially ordinary aids, like make up and a good bra, but I draw the line at trying to pass as 22 or pretending that all the fat cells in my body have magically migrated to my breasts. Appreciating who we are, being contented with our looks isn't going to make money for anyone, I think thats one good reason to do it.
On a more practical level, less hair looks juvenile and that is appealing to some men, and since hair holds odor and in this society odor is abhorrent, some think its cleaner.
Hair hanging out of a bathing suit is not neat looking, other than that, triangles are a nice shape.

I trim. My husband says it's better looking, and I think he's right. As for the breast implants, I'm an A cup, and I always feel like I look thirteen when I'll be 23 in a couple of weeks. As soon as I can afford them, I plan to get them.

As for the woman who said it made ger look younger and more appealing to guys, who the hell is she trying to pick up, anyway?

As a women who shaves , I do it because it feels clean. I hate body hair ,and it looks gross. As far as the implant subject, some women don't like what they got. I think you need to do what makes YOU happy!

Sorry "woman of size" do do these things for the same reasons as little woman. I personally keep mine in brazillian wax all the time whether im single or not.... My man like is too - but not totally bald - need proof that you are able to grow hair

You mean loving a woman with no makeup, unshaved legs and armpit hair and unkept finger and toe nails?

If you are going to be real about "naturalness" you need to be consistent.
It is just another extension of the patriarchal development of our ideas of beauty. Women do this to be "attractive" in our society. If our society valued heavy bushes and small chests, we'd all have them.

My wife keeps hers trimmed shapely. She has shaved completely in the past, but we both prefer the trimmed look and feel.

One of the original reasons was make men think that they were f***ing something that wasn't old enough to grow hair. But it is a matter of taste - literally.
