You cannot change the past, but you can work on the here and now and become something better. Learn from the past, but do not dwell in it.

It is important that you acknowledge what you have done in the past, because that is what made you who you are now, but the emphasis should always be on moving forward.

Who you are now is more important, because what you've done in the past is ""in the past"" it's not "who you are now"...that is...unless you haven't changed now from who you were then, then "who you were then" and "who you are now" are equally as important.

i think that both count, the past counts to make you learn and remember all the mistakes yu made , and the present is important to try to correct them, you are who you are because of what you have done in the past

who you are now..without a doubt...after staying home to raise my kids and having a degree in nursing...28 years ago...It's no good now because so much is new...I have to retake my science credits to do now what I did then. If you did things in your past that you have been "called out on", and you bettered yourself, it shouldn't be brought up...the past is just that...THE PAST
