As long as you don't mind being told you're off to hell...you can be a gay christian.

A person can have gay tendencies and desires and be a Christian. They just do not act on the desires, like an alcholic as to not act on his desire to drink, or an adulturer has to not act on their desire to cheat, or a person with a temper has to not act on their desire to lose their cool and explode.
They can also become a Christian while still living a guy lifestyle for a time. But there will come a moment as they mature where they will have to repent of it, just any other person must repent of their pet sin, and stop it. Otherwise they will no longer have any part in the kingdom of God. (See 1 Corinthians 6:9-10) And this is true of any sin, not just homosexuality.

As long as you aren't living a gay lifestyle. Being gay is not the sin, the sin is practicing homosexuality.

even for those who think it's a sin, the answer should still be yes. Because we all have our own sins so why should some people be aloud to call themselves christians when they have their own sins but others get excluded because of theirs?

can you be an alcoholic and a christian? can you be addicted to lust and be a christian? can you be prideful and be christian? can you be naturally greedy and be christian? those are all sins the same. why point out this one.

I don't see why not.. I believe that as long as you are a practicing christian you are good until you react on your homosexual feelings.. those urges are "your" demons... ( we all have our demons ) and you just gotta refrain..

what is wrong with being a " gay " Christian ? one doesn't necessarily refer to the sexual connotation.
