I know I don't have the best grammar but some, actually a lot of people on Y! A! seem to have failed their English class with tripple F's. I saw a question about a substitute teacher and the girl was asking if he was a pedophile. She didn't use pedophile but "PETAFILE", maybe she was asking about the annual spending reports for the PETA Organization. Another word that gets me is when people say "Let me Aks you something" or "I Aksed him". How hard is it to say Asked or Ask.

Muslims when are you going to take control of your religion all I see in the media is men in mask shouting Allah akbar and then cutting off a mans head or see were homicide bomber has killed women and children in one an attack who are Muslims too and it appears to me as an outsider that these people are glorified as martyrs or heroes why aren’t Muslims speaking out about this yet they protest and riot over a stupid and silly cartoon don’t you think you should be trying to portray Islam in more positive light or way.

I'm being asked to bring my three year old to a Memorial service so my husbands extented family can meet her. We would like to show our respects but we don't want to prolong the day for our child by attending the luncheon after the services. Is this wrong?

So, I've heard that calling christmas lights "White" and "Colored" is no longer politically correct. Instead they suggest you use "lights" and "festive lights."

What do you think of this? Let the debates begin!

TOPEKA, KS—In response to a Nov. 7 referendum, Kansas lawmakers passed emergency legislation outlawing evolution, the highly controversial process responsible for the development and diversity of species and the continued survival of all life. From now on, the streets, forests, plains, and rivers of Kansas will be safe from the godless practice of evolution, and species will be able to procreate without deviating from God's intended design," said Bob Bethell, a member of the state House of Representatives. "This is about protecting the integrity of all creation."The sweeping new law prohibits all living beings within state borders from being born with random genetic mutations that could make them better suited to evade predators, secure a mate, or, adapt to a changing environment. In addition, it bars any sexual reproduction, battles for survival, or instances of pure happenstance that might lead, after several generations, to a more well-adapted species or subspecies.Violators of the new law may face punishments that include jail time, stiff fines, and rehabilitative education and training to rid organisms suspected of evolutionary tendencies.

When the Bible commands us to Fear God?

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom (Proverbs 9:10) and knowledge (Proverbs 1:7).

"It is the LORD of hosts whom you should regard as holy. And He shall be your fear, And He shall be your dread. Then He shall become a sanctuary; But to both the houses of Israel, a stone to strike and a rock to stumble over, And a snare and a trap for the inhabitants of Jerusalem." - Isaiah 8:13-14

I LOVE Christmas! And I am a religious person! However, my boss (who shares office space with me) is a real scrooge. I brought a small Christmas tree in and he loudly scowled but said I could leave it there. He is a really nice person, just hates Christmas. I want to put a couple things around and have Christmas music, but I don't want to cross the line.
How can I get him to cheer up and not be so "bah, humbug!"??
Or should I just leave it alone?

People blame local authorities for creating ethnic ghettos in cities.
(lot of ethnic minorities put into poor neighbourhoods)

Authorities say it's bacause the ethnic mnorities like to
live amongst family and when their familiy comes from abroad,
They get housing near their own family. It;s their own choice.

Who's wright? Whos; wrong? Are they both right?
What do you think about this?
I think its true from both sides. But I also believe that
authorities do nothing to prevent creation of such "ghettos"
They see it as a happy accident and have a darn good excuse aftwerwards.

What's your take on this?

Why do people keep asking Christians that? We are not the judge of who is written in the book of Life and who is not, we don't know.
It is between that person and God.

I do hope we see one anther there.
