So, I've heard that calling christmas lights "White" and "Colored" is no longer politically correct. Instead they suggest you use "lights" and "festive lights."

What do you think of this? Let the debates begin!

In case you're a little confused...

It's considered Racially Offensive. Yep. That's what's happening to the world these days!

AND by the way, I didn't make this up. I've honestly heard it. I disagree strongly with it myself, but that's what people are saying these days.

I, too, have hypothyroidism and it would want to take 6+ months on your thyroid to change on medicine, and then even longer to lose any weight, in case you do lose any. What human beings don't realize is that your metabolism is now being managed by a touch pill and saved interior a "common" variety with that pill. you've had a better "common" previously the thyroid complications, making it extra uncomplicated to stay skinny and lively. I received 15 pounds when I had my son previously starting up on meds, and one 12 months and one extra baby later, I nevertheless personal that 15 pounds, even though it really is slowly happening. practise your mom is probable the finest thanks to quiet her down. reliable luck!

If humanity had not become so segrated in the first place, these words would not sound racist. Now it is very hard to say things without being accused of offending anyone. Colored lights are lights with colors.

Well I would say its getting out of hand. Eventually there will be a backlash. Look what happened with the feminist movement. They went too far with the "it should be a peoplehole cover not a manhole cover" thing and paid the price.

I think it is, but the way you use it might be offensive. For me I say colorful or bright lights.

Not really worth debating....and I've never heard about "politically correct" lights.

Call the lights whatever you want.

I think that people are taking PC a little to far. Like instead of saying Ba Ba Black sheep, we are now to say BA BA rainbow sheep because it is more PC. i feel that some things should remain the same.
