Men expect perfection in apperance, behavior, etc. but rarely do they even try to meet women halfway. why?

I agree women can be cruel to other women. But, my question is about how would men feel if we as women judged them as harshly as they judge women. Men tend to expect women to look perfect, go out of their way etc for them but, rarely feel like they need to go out of their way in any form to prove their feelings, be nice, or be considerate, they feel like oh well if you don't see me trying I can't help it.

probably the same way you feel. I've worked with alot of women but I'd would have to say alot of women treat women worse than men do, they judge on appearance in a really big way .The real difference I see is that men do it openly and will admit it. Women do it behind each others backs... While all this true...yep have to admit it men can be pigs..Sorry my bad

First of all, women DO judge men just as harshly, even more so than men do to women. And men feel like crap, just like women do when they are treated that way. You either get over it and learn to ignore what other people think or spend every night crying yourself to sleep in your pillow.

Because they don't have to. Most women just take whatever the first man who pays attention to them.
Also women are just as bad at judging other WOMEN based on appearance. Go figure.

I think thats already happening.
And I don't know what men you've been dealing with, but this one that is writing does not look for perfection in a girl.
I've met many (not 1,2,3) but MANY girls who won't date a guy for the most idiotic reasons!!!

It works both ways... being a guy i can definitely agree men are crueler about physical appearance although females pick other females apart.
I have my own personal fears & discomforts about being judged and I would assume it would bother me just as much.
