Can anyone help me out? I have got to find 10 different types of Christmas cakes that people eat in the UK and in other countries. And any variations (such as yule log) etc. If you could list them that would be great, and if you could tell me what they are made of too?. Thankyoo

Not all, some. I've heard many Christians talk about the love Jesus gives them, and how it makes them happier than before. Or that they were really miserable before they found religion etc.

Read this before answering:

"Do not lay a hand on the boy," he said. "Do not do anything to him. Now I know that you fear God, because you have not withheld from me your son, your only son."

If he knows everything, then why did he say "Now I know"

Let's say that somebody finally demostrated that God does't exist, how would that change your life? do you think you would be the same person? would you do things that you didn't do in the past because you feared God, for example having sex with whoever you want to,etc, etc, etc. This question is mainly for believers.

i am not sure if one of my friends is bi or a lesbian. She gives off subtle signs like touching the side of my arm sporadically and asking how i am feeling. About a month ago, she looked deep into my eyes for a good 3 min. I dont know wheter she was "testing" me or if she was trying to tell me that she likes me. The major thing that she does is constantly stare at me (hopefully in a goood way =] Once I caught her off guard and she blushed. When I speak to her, she has this dreamy look on her face. I KNOW that these are signs of someone liking you. The problem is that we both go to an all girls school. How can i confront her. I mean what am I suppose to say, "Are u a lesbian?" point blank? There is major tension between us. I could feel a connection btwn u I dont know wheter she is a les or bi, but she never really spoke about guys and she has never had a bf but has kissed a guy. I am starting to have feelings for her...and i am at a complete loss as to what i am suppose to do Need help

I went out for a walk after Christmas dinner by myself in 1999 and I was mugged and beaten by four black punks. Two of them grinded my face into the pavement while they screamed at me to give them my money. I gave them $20 to go buy crack or whatever. After I got away I went into a pizza parlor where I knew the manager. Another black punk who watched me get attacked from across the street followed me inside and broke my jaw from behind me. The coward didn't even have the courage to face me. I'll never forget the huge smile he had on his face before he left.

I feel my Christamas card list is getting too long and I am trying to determine if I should cut back, but how? My list includes immediate family members, life-long friends, and "weak-ties" people I know and care for, but seldom see, or people I've communicated with just once or twice several years ago. Should I continue to send these folks the annual card? What are some tips that other people use for refining their holiday card list to include meaningful connections and weeding out the casual contacts without being dismissive?
