It is God's inspired word, but God used flawed human beings to write it. It seems to me that we should expect it to reflect that. The Bible is like the world, a microchosm if you will. Because in the midst of the human ugliness thats in it, God's light shines brightly.

why do catholics say that when you die, you go to hell or heaven for the eternity... but then say that you reincarnate and live again? aren't you supposed to go to hell or heaven and stay there forever? how come you suddenly make the "patch" where now you can be reincarnate and reborn and once again "return" to heaven or hell?? i dont think that makes sense at all....

I want all of you know that the Islam relgion coming to all the world its coming for the peace,justice,respect every oneand for many good thing and i want you know that the Islam didnt give any one an order to be a Muslim no it's fales we'r just offer the Islam for him if he accept it's up to him and also if he refused it's back to him hope that you understand the Islam by another way hope that every one read a book about islam but from a Muslim write. ill give you an short example many people say that the Islam make the pople Muslim bu punch them and treat them badly if it right ill ask you why yeay by year many many people be Muslim why you can found it in every country in all the world.

I'm turning eighteen really soon but for some reason it seems depressing. Like, it's just a day but some changes in the personal life seem to be bound to come along with it.
I'll probably go to some college but there is much doubt about which one to chose as if it's difficult to make it to the ones I would really like.
Also, I'm not really sure if I can make my plans come true. They are what might matter a lot as it would decide a lot.

Finally, it's just some strange age. When I turned 13, something got me on thinking my childhood was over and I was wondering similarily like I do now. Now it's as my adolescense would be over and it leaves me to some nostalgia and a bit of depression. ;)

I don't know, I've tried cheering myself up with music or something but it seems all I have is depressive stuff...

Anyway, you can probably skip this rant now.
Or in case if you would want to answer to this - I wonder if somebody else has experienced this when turning to some age? Any ideas?

you know the word homosexual didn't even exsist in jesus time.. the prefix homo was attached to the human race by scientist much later on so how can the bible state anything with the word homo if it wasn't rewritten by man later on

Ok, my sister works in a resturant and after-I decided to stop by, because she insist I go in and check out the guys she works with-especially this one guy, so I went and I had a tasty lobster, anywho I glanced around but it's not like I got a good look. Well, she said there was this one guy who saw me, and said" Is that your sister, she's stunning". Now, she said that he face reaction was a good one, and a smile. And, she said he is the tyep I like, and he's cute, as in hot. So.....should I have her volunteer herself to tell him about me, and should I just wait until he asks her about me to make sure, he wasn't just saying complementing me, although he isn't attracted to me in that way?....

I am a gay male, 27 years old, and I was wondering if my neighbor who lives above me might be gay. Now I know it's stupid to go on stereotypes, but this is what I know. He is single, lives alone, in his thirties, I would guess, has a dog, and I hear songs like "Staying Alive" and 70's 80's love song stuff, like "How deep is your love" coming out of his open door while sweeping his porch? What do you think? I know this is the STUPIDEST question, but how gay does he sound or does he sound pretty normal? LOL!

Well for a few months now...my mom claimed that she has the gift of mediumship. At first me and my sister was skeptical and kind of grew to believe her until something happened Early Thanksgiving morning. My sister(she stays with our mom; I live with my husband and 3 kids) called and said that she's been up all night long screaming, and having an arguement with someone. The people she mentioned were not of the dead but people that still walk this earth...my dad...which lives in alabama(We're in Michigan). My mom and dad are still legally married but have been apart for 15 years now. She has also "argued" with his other lady. So, while she had me on the phone I could hear the screaming and cursing as if these people were standing there with her...and my sister said she's been doing this all night long. My sister got off the phone with me to calm her down...and then I called back and my mom answered the phone and asked me where my father was and to keep him away from the kids because...

Someone was saying that if you say "Bloody Queen Mary" infront of the mirror 3 times, you see a red flash and you get bad luck for the rest of your life. I tried it but nothing happened. How can protestant churches claim to be Christ's church when they are offshoots of Catholicism? All protestant denominations came into existence in the 1500s or later. How can any of these be Christ's Church? Are they really the original Christians?
