Someone was saying that if you say "Bloody Queen Mary" infront of the mirror 3 times, you see a red flash and you get bad luck for the rest of your life. I tried it but nothing happened. So what is all this stupid silly thing about then. They must have got it from somewhere to make up such a thing like that. Does anyone know anything about it?

I don't know much about it, but I heard that about 15 years ago. It surprises me that it is still being talked about. Maybe something does happen to some people.

Now i do not personally know whether she is real i do know that if you say her name three times in the mirror she will not appear. The reason is i have done it myself i even used various themes on the bloody mary conjuration in the attempt get her to show up but nothing happened. BUT i do warn against simple summoning attempts without proper training the results can be life threatening. If she was there and even a fraction of the rumors were true you would likely be dead. Then again you know how history gets things turned around

It's an Urban Legend that says if you look in a mirror and say bloody mary three times she will appear in the reflection behind you and then kill you - most often by causing you to bleed profusely resulting in a slow and usually quite painful death. Usually Mary is a girl known by a friend of a friends cousin that killed herself after being raped or tortured or something like that. Yeh,, when we were younger our friends used to dare us to go into a dark bathroom look intoo a mirror and say Bloody Mary three times. She was supposed to hop out of the mirror and kill u. I was too afraid to do it but I didn't believe it. No relation to Queen "Bloody" Mary I Tudor of England.

my daughter says that her friends at school say bloody mary in the mirror 3 times bloody mary will take your soul its all silly frightening things kids say to each other there are lots of different ones but all untrue

Haha. We did that when I was 10 years old or around that age. It's just a funny thing that kids do for fun, to be scared. We also said that there's a white van that kidnaps kids. I worked in a school last year as a teacher aide and the kids are still saying that one too.

I prefer saying candyman 3 times! We used to get so scared at primary school daring people to do it! Never heard the bloody mary one tho - sorry!

well my friends and i used to try it like everytime we we saw eachother. and it BLOODY MARY, not bloody queen mary, apparently mother mary was killed and she wanted to get her revenge, so she were to kill any one who said those 2 words three times in a pitch black room with a mirror. Of course its fake, nothing ever happened to me so its just some lousy trend

Not sure wher it came from, but It was around 25 years ago. In my area it was just plain old : BLOODY MARY.... but essentially it's the same legend
