you know the word homosexual didn't even exsist in jesus time.. the prefix homo was attached to the human race by scientist much later on so how can the bible state anything with the word homo if it wasn't rewritten by man later on

the people who hate have been taught to hate. they've been taught to believe in a Bible that was written by man, translated and re-translated by man, and quoted out of context to suit their own bigoted "purpose." when I was growing up, I never learned any such hateful thing in church or Sunday school. I was taught that God created and loves us all, and I know He loves me the way he created me.
but the haters only believe what they've been taught to believe...they won't open their minds up to the truth, because they are too consumed with hate. everything we try to teach them falls on deaf ears. they don't see how very un-Christian that passing judgment on others and preaching hatred and intolerance truly is. they condemn us to hell, when they are the ones who already have earned first class tickets there themselves.

Good point. Here's something else that will piss them off. If the bible includes the word "Homo", then that would mean that there is some science in the bible. Isn't science the opposite of religion? Logic > Stories

I am not a basher but the scripture you are refering to actually says

For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was meet.

While this is a clear description of a homosexual act, you are correct that the word homosexual is not used in the bible at all. What most of the "bashers" fail to realize is that while it says the act of homosexual union is wrong according to the bible, so is lying, stealing, thinking impure thoughts, searing, etc. And unless we all want to trot out our own sins for the world to pick apart then we need to all learn to shut up about other peoples sins. None of us is so pious that we can judge anyone else for any sin as all sin is the same in the eyes of the Lord. With the exception of blaspheming the Holy Spirit....I figure your sins will be between you and God to discuss and mine will be for He and me to talk about. Outside of that I will not be collecting rocks to throw at anyone.

The bible says two men shouldn't lay down together. I'd quote the scripture but I don't remember it. You're right it doesn't use the word homo. But bashers are not always readers of the Bible. Peaceful kind real Christians love everybody. I'm a Christian but I have homosexual friends as well. Doesn't make me any less of a Christian.

I don't know if their small little minds could comprehend such a statement....they just believe what their preacher tells them to believe...God has nothing to do with it.

Of course...all the bashers are probably just sitting on their fat asses laughing at us for responding to thier stupid questions.

Because people are ignorant and like to try to interpret what they think the Bible is saying.

What? That's why the bible is the Word of God without a doubt, coz it predicts the future. No other religious do that coz if they try it would reveal they're not indeed inspired by God. God lives in the eternity so he saw homos would be common in the future.
