u could always do the classic cookie shapes like with the raindeer n santa n stuff like that. but if u want to make cookies. my favorite is snickerdoodles, or chocolate chip, or maybe oatmeal raisin. i remember every christmas my grandma would make oatmeal raisin cookies and those were the best cookies in the world. well in my mind they were.

Peanut butter cookies with the kisses in them, and I love Linzer tarts...they are the sugar cookie with the seedless raspberry jam in the middle, but I was thinking about making the sugar cookies with different shapes and decorate them with my sisters kids. that is always fun and it will keep the kids busy for a while.

My large family contributors recipe has been round for years: 3 spoon fulls of caster sugar 200g of margarine 100-150ml of milk a drop of water 100ml of cooking oil will make the doe then shrink circles or cookie chapes and bake contained in the oven then beautify with icing and perchance goodies or stuff.

Gingerbread Men!

I am going to make fresh gingerbread people for my boyfriend's family and try to make them look like his family.
Also, I've decided to make them for my boss and put them in a nice gift basket and some cellophane wrap.

for thanksgiving my friends brother made peanut butter cookies topped with a hershey kiss. they were really good and simple.
