Most Christian Churches I know of are pro-life. It would be a long stretch even for some of the odd christians out there to be able to justify aborition.
And secondly, a church can't tell their congregations who to vote for because the screwed up government stuck their nose in and said they would take away the tax-exemption that is provided to religious orginizations if they do.

The church has absolutely no business telling people who to vote for. God has all elections in the palm of His hand. The church (not any man or institution) cannot change what He is doing. It is all in His perfect plan. The power of the Word of God is the ONLY thing that can change hearts. The church has no business telling people what to do. Politics, national pride and morality are not a topic for the pulpit. Stick with the Word of God, and you will never go wrong. Only He can change hearts!

Why SHOULD they? Their area is ministering to the spiritual needs of their "flock", not wading into political waters! If you are so lost that you need someone to tell you whom to vote for....then you have NO business voting at all!
Stop watching Fox News and get some real info at C-span, PBS, Moveon.org and ACLU.org.
Another site to check out, since you seem concerned about the pro-choice thing, is http://www.prochoiceamerica.org.
Figure out for YOURSELF who you want to represent you!

Church of England is Pro-choice, I think. And perfectly fair, too. Sensible Church. No Church should be telling people what to do with their bodies.

no.
churches shouldn't tell you who to vote for, your own heart and mind should do that.
separation of church and state has made this country strong. it should stay that way. prayer isn't the business of the government--faith in the world and the people who run the world is.
faith doesn't not equal a specific religion--it supersedes all and that is the "in God we trust" that we find in our government. trust god that they won't f**k up our country and the people within it, let alone the rest of the planet.
keep the faith.

I would hope no churches are pro choice, if you are talking about abortion. Ministers are not allowed to tell you who to vote for , they can tell you about to candidates though.

One fundamental part of being a christian is believing in it. Church cannot make decisions for you. You have the will to make your own choices.

I hope they are not pro-abortion! (Abort= to get rid of, to terminate, to kill. Pro-killing?!) Until after the 1930s all Christian churches held contraception, abortion, euthanasia, etc. as wrong. Now the Catholic Church is the only church that still stands firm in these teachings.
