talk to my " sunshine " and family. think of all those who are not going to celebrate the Holidays, try to help others by volunteering at Church, Salvation Army, Marine Corps League, homeless shelters, etc.

i think that everyone gets the holiday blues and sometimes it is because it is the loves ones who have died and we miss them for the holidays.
the holidays are also special and can spend with family and friends but some don't like holidays no matter which holiday it is

Yes, Oh yes! When I start to obsess about earlier holiday family get-togethers I phone the 'grown and gone' offspring, then take-in an upbeat movie followed by dinner with a favored girl friend. Very soon - no more purple funk.

Every now and then I will start to feel a little down. Then I go to the mall and look at all the decorations and watch the children talking to Santa. I watch the shoppers and I listen to their laughter. That usually cheers me up.
