If stem cell research can be done without harming a single fetus, would you be for it or opposed to it? 90% of stem cells can come from an umbilical cord instead of an aborted fetus. That being said, do you still believe that it is immoral? Why?

Would not a God who judged your actions to others find destroying life support systems about as evil and selfish as it gets. I mean if your going to have to fess up, to every little thing...I mean I try so hard not to hurt anyone, including taking care of "creation"...For its sake and becuase if you say dam a river for power and it keeps others from water, and the animals they use for food etc is that not just a little evil, but super evil. What if the "devil" wants each generation of christian to think the world is near so they do not take responsibility for thier actions, mabye we should be moral even if the world will end tommorrow...maybe esspesally because if you beilieve in revolations....
Please think about it..your thoughts...no passive aggresive god blesses either please.

I am a new junior youth assitant at our church. our junior youth class needs help. they are adolescents and mainly boys, i need to keep them interested and i need to get them on fire for God. I need help with activities or helpful websites. Also, the kids need to build trust and bonds/friendships with eachother. They are not very nice to eachother and we are there to serve the Lord, we need to be a unified youth group with a passion for Christ and love for eachother before we can effectivly serve. I want to have some kind of activities to help with this issue. there was something we played when i was a freshman in highschool at a retreat that had to do with a circle of people-passing a ball of yarn-and talking ( i dont remember exactly what it was..i just remeber it being emotional) anything will help. who breathe really loud and make disgusting noises when they eat. Not that i am prejduce, but mostly it is fat people who do this. its like a battle between the food and them and they are hell bent on winning. it is so damn disgusting. I hate that dont you???

I was forwarded an article about a certain Asian who filed a federal lawsuit against a private institution over "unfair" advantages afforded to blacks and hispanics.

I had 99% Math, 98% Verbal scores, score all SAT II's 95% plus I made it to city finals in Track and Field and Cross Country, was president of the Engineering club and volunteered and tutored. If anything from such bad public schools, that alone warrants extra points.

Although I didnt have perfect SATs, most Asians I know dont have any strong sports records and show little or no community involvement.

I think that Asians hate the fact that colleges consider extracurriculars and use affirmative action as a lightning rod.

I live in an Apartment Complex and I have been here for 10 years with no problems, during the summer I asked to move to a 2 bedroom apt. The only thing is is that I now have people above me that make all kinds of noise at night, they bump,knock and drag stuff across the floor all the time. In the old 1 bedroom apt. that I was in there was no one above me to get on my nerves. I will be mentioning this to the manager of this complex but in what way do I say all the nasty things that I'm going to say in a nice way. I think she could have been more consideriate when she put someone above me. After all I have been here for 10 years and they just got here this past weekend. Please pray that I hold my peace.

Yea, I know, I am setting myself up for some attacking answers and some "smarties" that will have plenty to say & still not answer my question, but here goes...

I was raised with Southern Baptist beliefs. I have stepped away, even studied wicca for a few years. I have been searching for a church to attend since I have moved 10 hours away from my home town. This past Sunday, I went to church with a friend and really liked it. It was a United Methodists and I felt very comfortable there. Are there any major differences that I should know as I search for a church to attend full time?

So many people say: "What would God do..." "Would he get angry"
I understand that although humans are limited in their ability to think outside human terms (non linearly), but why do so many people also reference God and His actions as if he was a single entity in one exact area. Its like trying to tell someone where in the atom the electron is EXACTLY. (we simply say where it is probable to be, but we know it is there). The disputes that occur do so because God is being limited to what we can fathom. Why can't we try and think "outside" the box? Is it the default of our mind to think that way? True, God is a father, but this simply describes of His nature - one of love. God=Love, so why isnt God as you interpret him to be, not a solid, inert statue in a church?
