God wouldn't make any statues cry, bleed or do anything else. This would draw us towards idol worship, which He abhors. Satan, on the other hand, would do just such a thing so as to deceive and mislead as many as possible. It is not God who commits atrocities in the world it is man. Satan tempts humans and humans obey Satan instead of God. Sometimes Satan will commit atrocities too, such as natural disasters. Sometimes God will use natural disasters that occur to judge or to strengthen people.God will intervene in the affairs of sinful man soon enough, and when He does it'll be too late to be saved from His wrath.Sometimes, when Christians gather and earnestly pray about a disaster or atrocity, God does intervene. We can't possibly know the mind of God because He is infinite, we are finite; He is omniscient, our knowledge is extremely limited. He is Creator, we are His creatures. Man can't judge God, this is an impossibility.

A man is involved in a hellacious crash in his Ferrari. Pretty soon EMS arrived to take care of him, who is obviously injured. "My car, my beautiful car...totaled!", cried out the man as one EMS caretaker was tending to his needs. "Sir," he exlaimed, "Please don't worry about your car! There is something more important like...your left arm is gone!!" To which the man bemoans, "My Rolex, my beautiful Rolex!!.
For those who disclaim Christianity (crying Mary statues is not Christianity) by invoking science, not one scientist has claimed that tears from a statue is indeed real! So get off that crap!
If God was to intervene in even one incident of human evil (and what makes you think he hasn't?) then He would have to intervene in all of them. Of course, there would be least one person who would say or act (like the man and his Rolex), never mind that, what about this? Or that? Or the other? You would never be satified!

First of all, why would he make a statue cry? Even within the logic of religion, it's not logical that He would resort to such manifestations. A burning bush . . . yeah, but not a statue. As for the others, He does allow bad things to happen to good people. It's up to us to discipline ourselves and stop such things.

God is not the one that is making the statue cry. It is satan. Satan knows that people will come and start to worship the statue. That is idolatry. The catholics are idolaters.

To show he is really God. Why should he intervene? He's God not a puppeteer. He made us with a brain and a free will to follow him or not. Some do some don't and that's why the world is in the shape it's in.
