What can you tell me about mormon people, to be honest I dont know very much but i do know that mormon people usually marry fellow mormons. Is it possible for mormon people to marry someone not mormon?? If not what kind of sacrifices are non mormon people expected to make, i ve head things like giving up caffine and alcohol are normal along with donating a large amount of your salary to the mormon church.....how much of this is true???

This question came up a few days ago, and I want to address it again.

How can lust be considered wrong---when defined as "looking at other person with a sexual desire?" If no one ever did that, then they would never find a compatible significant other. And yes, physical attraction is not the only aspect of a good relationship, but it IS part of a good relationship. Along with that, it is usually the first thing you notice about other person when scoping them out for a potential mate. Please note that I am not saying that people do or should look for a mate based primarily on physical attraction, but it is part of the process, and often the first part. Also, how can people say that its okay to look at a spouse with sexual attraction, but not a boyfriend or girlfriend? You can't just turn off your natural feelings until you walk down the aisle with someone.

One more thing: I already know about that verse that says "He who looks upon a woman with lust has committed adultery."

in the old testament there is a god who is one mean bastard who has killed millions and advices the killing of people through torturous means for such little things.

in the gospels you have the kindest most compassionate god that has ever been described.

there is a lot of controversy over this question....for many people believe that the lord jesus of the gospels is not the same mean god of the old testament.

Why do people want to put their name or stamp on something substandard or shoddy? I can remember back as far as high school when the drama teacher had a prop I did repainted because it was not well enough(and I knew it, but still)I was ticked. Not so much that someone else painted over my work. But that I was not able to do it well enough and gave them the opportunity to knock it. When people see something I do I want them to go "Oh WOW!" Pos, not "OMG! Who in the heck did that!?" Neg. I never wanted to have my name attached to something substandard so I always did everything I could to make sure what I did was top notch, But a lot of people do not seem to care. They will do the very minimum and not more. And don't care how well the end result is.

Walmart is soooo awesome!!! I love that place. It has a wonderful atmosphere in every store. They offer goods at low price and offers employment for their community.

I think a lot of people hate walmart because they've been out-competite only because they been charging high price, ripping off their customers and they are so jealous that Walmart are the good guys!

My aunts (moms sisters) live out of town. We are all really, really close and I would like to get them all the same thing, something that they would look at everyday and think about each other with. I was thinking jewelry but everyone is so different: my one aunt is a lot like me and really into fashion, my other aunt is very classic and simple, and my Grandma is old-world Italian. My mom is somewhere in between, so if I got jewelry it would have to fit everyone's taste. Any suggestions?
