We (USA) have the worst healthcare system in the free world, a social security system that isn't secure, an educational system that's in the crapper, and a war in Iraq that isn't going too well.
Why does anyone care about keeping gays from marrying?

Anyone have tips on pronouncing the Spanish double "r" trill? I've tried for over 3 months already and I still can't get it! I've looked up tips on the Internet too, but none of them seem to work for me. Any tried-and-true tips from people that can actually pronounce the "rr" trill?

In my opinion, respecting other religious celebrations is a good thing, but Christmas is an American tradition, and as such it deserves the respect and acknowledgement of American citizens, even if they choose not to celebrate it. "Happy Holidays" is okay, but when the ACLU starts demanding we call Christmas trees "holiday trees" or, worse yet, "community trees," and schools start punishing students for wearing red and green*, I think we have a major problem in our society, not to mention an infringement of our First Ammendment rights. What do you think?

When I turn the furnace on for the first time the house gets that oil smell and I grew up sitting right on top of the heating vent so I could be as toasty as can be and I could smell the furnace that was in need of cleaning....so now that I am an adult, that oil smell brings me back to childhood. What silly things bring you back to childhood???

God loves each and everyone of us and some of us can come to him easyier then others, and others have to go through tough life experieces until they realize there is a God that is so loving and aways there for us. God will never let us down and he or she will continue to love us through or mistakes and be proud when we fix our mistakes and be even more proud when we changes our lives completely around in a more Godly way. God love us, and we need bad things happening on the earth because this makes us turn to God when we want feel better and also it teaches others God followers to grab those who need help and help them at all cost. God is a God of love and smiles down on the accomplishments we make and waits patiently to realize the mistake we made and how to go about correcting them. What do you think? Please no insults.
