i'm having 20 people or more over my house for thanksgiving and i'm trying to think of something different to make. yes i'm making the turkey ,stuffing,green bean casserole and banana pie and mashed potatoes but i want something new. any ideas?????

If you want something along similar lines to traditional Thanksgiving food, you could always add in a ham, roast, or maybe some salmon. I plan on smoking a ham this year and using a maple/pineapple juice glaze. For the salmon, you could wrap it in foil with onion, garlic, salt, pepper, and a little butter then stick it in the oven for half an hour.

How about fried chicken mashed potatoes and home made chicken noodles. We have this with our turkey and stuffing and all the other sides.

Spaghetti would be unusual. . .or sushi. Something very ethnic would surprise everyone. Or maybe green jello with cottage cheese whipped into it like they have at Potlucks. Or maybe a fruit salad with lemony yoghurt sauce. Add rum if you like the flavor.
