Religion, which I know does not always have to be equated with belief in God, has never attracted me, so I have never had a strong force telling me to believe. I choose to not have God as a part of my life because what I see here on earth is enough. People, plants, animals, love, life, and even evil and hate, are what I believe in. I believe there is a spirit that connects everything, but that there is no divine power. For me, belief in a God would only distract from everything we have here on earth, only color the view of the wonder of nature. Life is my religion.

When you believe in the living God ,you obey the word of God and live righteously in the word of God.From the spirit of God the light the spark of life you came from and return onto in the end.All need to be re programed ,only the word from the lord are you to trust and holy in all truth is that word .Believe not in unholy words from mankind using God and the Devil for gain, you lose in the game of life.

There is no empirical evidence supporting the concept of god. Science is continously making strides showing the age of the earth. I can not force myself to believe in things that I find illogical.

I find religious concepts like prayer and hell to be completely illogical. If god is love why wouldnt he want the best for each individual, and if he did, why would our prayers effect what happened to that individual? If he changed his mind about what was going to happen due to prayer, it wouldnt be for the best, thus it would be an unloving thing. Hell is beyond the pale. How could a loving parent damn his child to eternal damnation? Even if your child believed in a lie, would you damn him?

I do believe in God. Not the Christian/Jewish/Islamic God, but I believe in God.

Of course, I also believe in Goddess, so that probably invalidates my voice.

its hard to explain. why do you believe in god? my disbelief isnt from ignorance, i had the choice of believing or not. i was raised a catholic. this choice wasnt easy for me but over time i realised i really never believed in god. i dont know why exactly but i do know i just dont. that may seem to you like not enough reason not to believe but i dont really have a positive answer. i guess part of it is i dont like the idea of not being in charge of my own destiny.

I do believe in God...and the only reason any of you that don't believe in him haven't experienced him, or found evidence of him is because you haven't looked and you have taken the word of society and what they want you to believe, but you haven't looked yourself or you would have found him!

Because God isn't anywhere that we can see, and it's tough to believe without seeing.

But maybe God is EVERYWHERE we see...

Then to not believe would be to shut our eyes.
