I notice straight away the first weapon the creationists use is to misrepresent what evolution is. It is adaptation and genetic change in any given species through time. Unless you believe that doesn't happen (in which case you are either pig ignorant or completely bigotted) you must admit that evolution occurs. The mechanisms involved are theory-the fact that it happens is not even remotely in doubt.

I'm no scientist but I looked carefully at this topic after I became a christian because I couldn't believe that some people don't believe in evolution. Some of the evidence for creation is quite interesting if you look at it objectively.

Creationists know the beginning and what is exp[ected in the end, what do evolutionists believe? It's better to believe than not to believe, you loose nothing when in the end you discover that it exists than disbelieve and you are disapprove and doomed for hell. all we know is scientists change their perceptions and veiws regulary. don't forget gallileo was persecuted by the vatican for saying the earth revolves around the sun. Every body thought the earth was flat when columbus discovered america.

They create such nonsense, they misquote and quote out of context, and they deceive the gullible. one of the favorite tricks is to copy and past a list of quotes without naming the source, and trust that readers will be too lazy and gullible to bother checking to see what the original context was. You have an example of that in your answers. First answer actually.

you will notice that 'the watchman' cites stephen jay gould and carl sagan - both firm believers in evolution - but misrepresents them to make them look like sceptics.

Btw - apparently, the days mentioned in the bible are actually meant to be periods of 1,000 years. So when it says 7 days they actually mean 7,000 years. Sh*t - that means no more Sundays - we've got to wait another 6,000 years before we get 1,000 years off.
