i think mankind ever invented the time machine is that is can only go forward FASTER then we human go by pass each day and year..and thire are no possible to go back in time....just like the movie from hollywood the time machine...he make it and he can only go forward time not againt time.....if anyone have any other please help me out i dotn quite get it

Well, I'm only 17, I'm not selling a house or anything ( Duh. ) But there is this family that moved in my neighborhood and they're black. The houses are really expensive and I was just wondering will that one family bring down the whole neighborhood value? Because I've seen this happen before..Green Island Hills..yeah no one wants to move over there anymore..Why do they have to ruin such good, influential and well mannered neighborhoods?

Edit: I did ask this in the Business section, but I think only black people were answering the question, since the answers were a little race-biased.

Example....A week ago I was travelling on my local metro train without a ticket and for some reason the inspectors were checking all tickets at my stop, They had caught about 6 scroaty teenagers also without a ticket (like me) There was lots of used tickets on the floor, So I picked one up and just flashed it at the ticket inspector and walked past him scott free. My question is why did the scroaty teenagers that had been caught not have the brain power to do the same. (a middle aged guy) .

I want to know the freakiest thing that has ever happened to you mostly because I have had a lot of freaky things happen to me and I'm just interested in this stuff. For example:

When I was about 10 years old, my mom was driving me home from school one day. We passed this restaurant. I saw this woman outside of the restauruant near the bench. She was dressed as if she were from the 1800s. She had a hat with a big feather on it, a fan in her hand, and a big dress. She wasn't fully outlined, but you could still see some details and features. She had a purpleish shade to her, and she seemed ghostly. I stared at her for a while, and I was frozen stiff with fear. We were at a red light, so I really had no choice to. She just sorta faded away. But she was there for about a minute, and she was just pacing outside of the restaurant, as if she were waiting for someone or something.

I want to hear something like that! That is a true story! Now tell me yours!

Its a translation of a translation. If it was the original I could understand. It also went though several revisions of its own before 1611. I personally have never seen an obsession like this in any other translation. Have you ever heard from Spanish speakers that _____ version of the Bible is the only one true Spanish tradition guided by G-d? I did not think so. This concept also dose not exist for English versions of the Tanach or the Koran.

So can someone please explain this obsession to me?

I don't mean to sound nasty, but why do so many Christains just seem so stuffy and not fun to be around. (think of someone like the PC guy in the "I'm a PC; and I'm a Mac" - TV Ad ;-) And the ones who initially seem "somewhat cool" and "with it" seem to spend all of their time trying to convince others that they are not like most other Christians, when in fact deep down they are just as simple minded and naive as the rest. Is being Christian a BIG social handicap? Is there such thing as a "religion nerd"????
