years ago i would find lots of these types of "coins" that had no monetary value, instead they had various sexual positions on them. they were made of either brass or copper and sometimes also had astrological symbols as well...

does anyone know the origin of these coins?

Yes, he died for our of all sins. We should worship and praise his name. We should totally surrender to Jesus.

My friend is just confused right now. He's about my age and here's how he feels: Likes looking at guys ***** and likes to go out with girls, not guys. Wants to, while he jerks off, think about a guys dick and a girls' privates, but doesn't want to do anything intimate with guys, only girls. He looks at gay porn (masturbation only) and he also looks at naked girls. My friend never wants to go out with guys.He believes that him dating and being intimate with guys is wrong. He wants to get married to a girl and love her a lot. My friend feels like he likes looking at other guys' *****, gets a ***** when he does, but he wants to be 'just friends w/ no benefits' and he also wants to like girls physically and emotionally. Is my friend gay, bi, straight?

I wonder if they're saying the same thing about YOU !?!?

Regardless of whether they're wrong or not. . . .Why not give them a call YOURSELF ?

In every dispute or misunderstanding.. . .. . .better communication is the answer. So why not STAND UP and do the RIGHT THING ?

which of them are you most closest to? (if you have no siblings choose cousins or nearest immediate family.)

mine is my brother. he is my best friend. although we both try to be the alpha male we always resolve every situation. whether it be personnal, financial, or mechanical.(we still after all these years get in fist fights which i actually enjoy and sometimes antaginise even though he usually wins) we are great companions and am very fortunate to have him in my life. when we meet people that dont know us and see our friendship they often remark how odd it is to see two brothers as tight as we are. i cant imagine it being any different. do the majority of people not get along with their siblings? also i get along well with my three sisters. but they all live 1,200 miles away.

I'm Jewish, but I was wondering what the Christian view on this is. I know that Christians believe that Jesus is the Messiah, and that he died for our sins. But if he died for our sins, and if the Messiah came, then how come there are still bad people in the world. Also, how could the actual Messiah die? I'm not trying to be mean to Christians, I'm just wondering what you guys believe.

Slaves, obey your earthly masters with deep respect and fear. Serve them sincerely as you would serve Christ. (Ephesians 6:5)

Elton John said organized religion doesn't work and religion should be banned because it promotes hatred. He didn't specify a paricular religion.

I love Elton John's music, but this really ticks me off. If I choose to now boycott his music, his personal appearances and such, would that make me hateful?

Can you mention 5-10 reasons for making YOU proud of

The lottery ticket is just a tiny slip of paper, but the Bible has hundreds of pages, and says you will go to "heaven," maybe.

I'm not trying to pick a fight but I just don't understand your answers. If the slavery statement is not of God, which other parts of the Bible are inccorrect? Why should I believe any of it? And why would God allow his people to practice sucha thing regardless of the time? I don't understand.

...they were wrong they die and nothing happens.
On the other what if the Atheist is wrong.
Better yet what if everyone's wrong? What if we are just a bunch of passionate misguided souls that dont have a clue. Hey is that new John Legend CD any good?

Not a lot more to say on this one.
Except not sure if it should be in this category but its the most apt I think, as people who follow religion generally do not consider themselves to be what is proven (we are animals).
And therefore racist comments should more correctly be termed 'breedist' !.

sooo. i don't get it. like when/how do i use it?
example in book: il ETAIT 7 heures et demie quand elle EST RENTREE (It was 7:30 when she RETURNED HOME)
& it also says "the imperfect tense tis used to describe an ongoing condtion or a repeated/imcomplete action in the past/not telling the specific time.
but if it says "7:30", isn't that a specific time?

Who's God? Is always the question right? I feel like everyone is so caught up in their religion that God is takeing the back seat. I have noticed that in the 7 years since I 've become a "christian" that we are not studying the bible but books written by men and women interpating the bible for us. I feel like we study Mattew, Mark, Luke and Jhon more then we study the good Lord himself. I am scared because I think that in the thousands of different versions of the bible something has to have been left out or added. I am always afriad that we are being mis lead. There are too many questions for me to write here...I just want to know if there is anyone out there who feels the same way?

You know the Emmaus story, where two disciples didn't recognize Jesus who just rised from the dead. Do you get any signs in that story that the disciples believe in the resurrection?

And I have a second question about the story with the adulteress. I think that the main theme isn't the adultery but Jesus' intelligence, how he deals with the Pharisees: I mean they wanted to have a reason for condemning him. Anyway, what meaning or importance does "death" has in this story?

Thank you so much

See, I was brought up Jewish, so there are various things we didn't eat. And even though now I don't keep strict kosher, and I accept that there is no rational reason behind the food laws, and I don't believe they are important to my relationship with God, still, because I grew up not eating pork, or parts of animals other than the flesh, I still choose not to eat them. The thought just makes me feel icky.

Is there anything you would never eat?
And why?

I am Master Amara Kiran, a teacher of The Order and the head of The Eranai which is a group founded towards the service of the greater good within The Order. Yet I am frustrated. So many of my students want to join the Eranai but when told that it is a lifetime committment and that one must sacrifice greatly of themselves. I do not like to turn them away or disappoint them but alas, the Eranai are for only those who are truly dedicated and have been found worthy.

In this day and age is it possible, or perhaps I should say likely that there are still those who are willing to make such a committment?
