Technically Jesus died for the sins of the elect, those the Father gave him before the foundation of the world. Jesus did not come to make a way of salvation possible, he came to actually save his people from their sins. Everyone Jesus died for will be saved. None he died for will be lost. The Father did not give everyone to the son, but only those he chose before the foundation of the world. The Father chose the elect before the foundation of the world, he gave them to the son, the son voluntary died for those the Father gave him (and secured their salvation) and the Holy Spirit applied to the hearts of the elect the work of the son so that they might realize their salvation through conversion. Everyone deserves hell but God is merciful and chose to save some. He was under no obligation to save any. Those who go to hell get what they deserve. Those who go to heaven get what they do not deserve. No one is treated unjustly. Some received mercy and some justice. John 6, John 17

Yes I agree with you. Jesus did go through a painful death so that we can have a chance for everlasting life and to have our sins forgiven. But Jesus also command his followers to give ALL praise to his Heavenly Father, Jehovah.
