That even though suffering is a undeniable part of life, we can take comfort in Christ's suffering for us and carry our crosses with Him.

I'm Lutheran...I learned that we cannot live like it's the end. We are ready for the end of times, and He does not even know when the end of ALL creation will be. Heaven and Earth will pass away, but His Words will not. I learned that we should not try to find out when the end will be because it's impossible, we must live each day the best we can and be as faithful to God as we possibly can. God bless.

I go to a fairly fundamental Baptist church and had a wonderful sermon on the part of James (we've been working through that book lately) that says we are NOT to judge one another or speak negatively about one another at all. It was a really fine sermon, truly. This one's going to be continued, though, because there was far too much to fit into one Sunday's sermon time. I think Pastor still posts the sermons on the church website. Write me for it (by clicking on the name under my little grey box over there) if you'd like to check it out. It was a great sermon!

I've personally been trying to get some folks in this church to be a little more open-minded about who is and isn't Christian. Thank you for clearly identifying yourself as a Catholic Christian. I wish I could convince more people that many of you exist! I know quite a few, myself (as I work in an interdenominational ministry) and know there are many more out there. Thanks for sharing. I like this question.

I dont attend mass only catholics do this.
I attended worship service though. It was taken from John 6 We learned about Broken Bread. the broken loaf is symbolic in many ways, fellowship, openness, forgiveness. Jesus' claim to be "bread' and to be able to give "water".John 4:14 backs up this claim.

a lot of people here do not appreciate a Lady ministering to them, which is a shame as sometimes their messages are much better than a man's. the gender has nothing to do with the speaker's ability, so when in the world are the Ladies in the congregation going to realize this. strange as it may seem the majority complaining are the Ladies not the men.
