For my daughter to take to her boyfriends parents for Thanksgiving dinner. She's 24. Maybe wine? Red or white??? Any other suggestions?

Flowers are always nice, especially if she doesn't know them well. (Her boyfriend should know of any to stay clear of due to allergies.) Food on Thanksgiving is always acceptable, but have boyfriend check on what might be needed. As for wine, general rule is match the wine with the main course (white meat-white, red meat-red), or bring a dessert wine. Hope this helped.

Have her call and ask if she should bring a dish. This will impress the BF's parents! They will probably say no, so take a hostess gift. Wine, cheese and crackers, cookies, candy, a jar of homemade jam, anything home made works. A nice box of store bought candy.
Ask the BF if his Mom has ordered flowers for Thanksgiving, if not, a small, low arrangement suitable for the table, or not, as the hostess chooses, will do fine .

A bottle of wine is a nice idea. Penfold's makes a nice wine - and their wine is available in all price ranges (and they are all very good).

Your daughter could also bake a dessert to take along, which is more personal than buying something. Iced pumpkin cupcakes would be nice. Eagle brand makes a kit for pumpkin muffins and then you could make a cream cheese frosting to dress them up.

Wine is a good idea (red or white would be personal preference)

Maybe she can bake them cookies or make some kind of dessert.
