Mein Kater wetzt gerne seine Krallen und frisst gerne Futter mit Fischgeschmack.

Meine Hündin spielt gerne apportieren und kaut gerne Knochen. Sie geht auch gerne spazieren.

To amend the answer above, a boy cat is "Mein Kater" and I think a girl dog is "Meine Hunde". The verb should be at the end, although I don't know how it works for compound sentences, but the last sentence I think should be:

Sie mag auch spazieren.

I could. But I won't. Break out your dictionary. Or go to AltaVista.com and use their translator. Just keep in mind that it's not foolproof and has been known to be wrong sometimes. It is a really big help, though.
