Before the Protestant reformation, there was no such thing as a "denomination". There was only the Catholic Church in the west and the Eastern Orthodox Churches in the east.

And before 1054 AD, there was only the Catholic Church with an unbroken Apostolic line going all the way back to the Apostle Peter when Jesus founded the Church with Peter as the first leader (what we today call the Pope).

The combination "the Catholic Church" (he katholike ekklesia) is found for the first time in the letter of St. Ignatius to the Smyrnaeans, written about the year 110. The words run: "Wheresoever the bishop shall appear, there let the people be, even as where Jesus may be, there is the universal [katholike] Church."

ok, i know there is no way to tell FOR SURE, but i would like all guy opinions about my sisters boyfriend. they have been together for 3 years. he is 26 years old. he says he is too old for sex. he never touches her, never acts interested. once when they actually had sex, he asked her to stick her finger up the back side. sorry, that's nicest way i know to say it. anyway, also, he's the kind of guy that is always wearing a jacket, never EVER goes without a shirt. till his guy friend came over once and he walked into the room shirtless. and he sat on the love seat with the guy instead of my sis. he's a truck driver, and so is his friend. when they decide to run together, he never calls my sis. when this guy isnt around, he's calling at least twice a day. so what's up? do you think he is gay? or maybe cheating with another girl? what are your opinions?

i grew up in a Catholic home. I was taught that believing in horoscopes and psychics was bad since only God knows your destiny. How true is this? there is this boy at my highschool that really likes me alot. I'm a guy also. I'm in the closet hiding it from society in school. Lately, I been finding myself flirting with him, and him too. So a rumor came up saying that we were both gay and going out. I was hurt so badly when he started going out with this girl in my face and act like he didnt even know me, knowing that we have a secret relationship with one another. He know how I feel about this but just luaghs at it. Even though God meant for woman to be with man, but I just have feelings for guys. I'm a christian, and know Jesus Christ.Could someone please help me out, give me advice anything you can. Anything, and please be kind to me please dont hurt me anymore than what I already have . The reason I posted this question in religion, is becasue I feel really scared and dont know what to do. I know its wrong to be gay, bi, but I just have a strong feeling for guys. I know its a sin to act upon homosexual.

And facts about our universe unknown at the time of Darwin preclude old earth theory.

The plain and simple fact is that those who cling to evolution can no longer be considered avante guard or even smart. They can only be looked upon as hangers-on to a defunct religion of godlessness.

for some time i wondered how sanford and son
which is a show primarily directed at black americans
had and continues to have such a large appeal to non blacks
many non blacks maintain a very favorable opinion of this show
i dont even watch television but i have watched sanford and son online because it is so darn funny
