Some people find it hard to get past something that to this day has yet to be properly addressed, equality.
Did you know to this day there are states that have on their books laws that state one drop of black blood makes you black?
And as for Jim Crow, while it is not done in the open as it was back in the 40's and 50's such things are still going on, the Florida and Ohio elections for example.
Most black people are not going by what some racist said in the past, but by what they are doing now.

Because some racist white people still talk and act like other racsit white people in the past.
