I am a Christian because I was raised that way. Now that I'm an adult I'm a Christian by choice. It's the only religion that teaches love and to have a good life. There is also so much truth to this religion. Such as studies that have proven instances from the bible.
My husband spent 18 months in Iraq with Muslims. And he just told me what a horrible, evil religion it is. These poor naive people believe that by killing "infadels" they will spend eternity with their virgins. Ha! And to think that Muslims want to kill everyone non-Muslim so they can take over the world. Sounds evil to me. They have always been the enemy God and will continue to be as long as they have their wicked beliefs.
As for you being a Christian, God bless you! I sometimes wonder if over 80% of Americans are Christian, then why didn't they stand up for the power of praying and In God We Trust. We need to stick together to save this nation from corruption.

Because without Jesus Christ I would have no hope and no reason for living. He has given me a future that I would be an idiot not to accept as a free gift!

Through research (scientific and theological) Christianity has proven to be the only reasonably valid/justified religion. (for me anyway) Not to mention, when I feel the presence and conviction of the Lord, there is no room for denial in my heart.
Blessed Be

You have been led astray, you still have time, before the day of Judgement. God is above having a son or daughter...
[003:062] Verily, this is the true narrative [about the story of 'Îsâ (Jesus)], and Lâ ilâha illallâh (none has the right to be worshipped but Allâh, the One and the Only True God, Who has neither a wife nor a son). And indeed, Allâh is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.
[003:063] And if they turn away (and do not accept these true proofs and evidences), then surely, Allâh is All-Aware of those who do mischief.
[003:064] Say (O Muhammad [sal-Allâhu 'alayhi wa sallam]): "O people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians)! Come to a word that is just between us and you, that we worship none but Allâh (Alone), and that we associate no partners with Him, and that none of us shall take others as lords besides Allâh." Then, if they turn away, say: "Bear witness that we are Muslims."
[003:065] O people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians)! Why do you dispute about Ibrâhîm (Abraham), while the Taurât (Torah) and the Injîl (Gospel) were not revealed till after him? Have you then no sense?
[003:066] Verily, you are those who have disputed about that of which you have knowledge. Why do you then dispute concerning that of which you have no knowledge? It is Allâh Who knows, and you know not.
[003:067] Ibrâhîm (Abraham) was neither a Jew nor a Christian, but he was a true Muslim Hanîfa (Islâmic Monotheism – to worship none but Allâh Alone) and he was not of Al-Mushrikûn (See V.2:105).
[003:068] Verily, among mankind who have the best claim to Ibrâhîm (Abraham) are those who followed him, and this Prophet (Muhammad [sal-Allâhu 'alayhi wa sallam]) and those who have believed (Muslims). And Allâh is the Walî (Protector and Helper) of the believers.
[003:069] A party of the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) wish to lead you astray. But they shall not lead astray anyone except themselves, and they perceive not.
[003:070] "O people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians)! Why do you disbelieve in the Ayât of Allâh, [the Verses about Prophet Muhammad [sal-Allâhu 'alayhi wa sallam] present in the Taurât (Torah) and the Injîl (Gospel)] while you (yourselves) bear witness (to their truth)."
