The various Christian sects worship God, the "Holy Ghost," the Son, the Virgin Mary, and many other lessor demigods they call saints. On the flip side they fear a demigod they created and personified themselves--Satan. The also call on various Angels with prayer--as in Micheal the Arch Angel. That is a perfect dictionary discription of polytheism.

all wars are because of religion.

if there was no religion there would be more of a peace society.

obviously everyone would go nuts about not believing in a afterlife but since there isnt one anyways whats the difference.

so do you think if there was no religion it would be a better world.

Has anyone had a baby with a gay man? I was asked to have my best friends baby. (who is gay by the way) He is in a relationship with a man but we live together. He said he always wanted to be a father and he believes that we are a good match. I just need to get some advice on what I am getting myself into. He wants me to be totally involved in the baby's life, and wants me to be the main parent. Im just confused. What should I do?

A Florida judge rejected a woman's request to have her face covered by a veil in the photograph on her state driver's license, siding with the state Friday that a favorable ruling could be exploited by terrorists.
Her husband, Abdul-Maalik Freeman, said his wife would fight the decision.

"She's not lifting the veil. This is a religious principle," he told CNN-affiliate WKMG. "We don't quit. We have a no-quit attitude"

So I have to know, do women ever dream abotu doing porn? Seriously now; I hear that women are closely gaining on men when it comes to which gender buys the most porn movies. I have been told that women like to be wanted like the women in porn films. Would a woman ever do an amateur film just for fun without any stipulations? How do women react to someone propositioning them?

The European Commission has just announced an agreement whereby English will be the official language of the European Union rather than German, which was the other possibility.

As part of the negotiations, the British Government conceded that English spelling had some room for improvement and has accepted a 5- year phase-in plan that would become known as "Euro-English".

In the first year, "s" will replace the soft "c". Sertainly, this will make the sivil servants jump with joy.

The hard "c" will be dropped in favour of "k". This should klear up konfusion, and keyboards kan have one less letter.

There will be growing publik enthusiasm in the sekond year when the troublesome "ph" will be replaced with "f". This will make words like fotograf 20% shorter.

In the 3rd year, publik akseptanse of the new spelling kan be expekted to reach the stage where more komplikated changes are possible.

Governments will enkourage the removal of double letters which have always ben a deterent to akurate speling.

Also, al wil agre that the horibl mes of the silent "e" in the languag is disgrasful and it should go away.

By the 4th yer people wil be reseptiv to steps such as replasing "th" with "z" and "w" with "v".

During ze fifz yer, ze unesesary "o" kan be dropd from vords kontaining "ou" and after ziz fifz yer, ve vil hav a reil sensi bl riten styl.

Zer vil be no mor trubl or difikultis and evrivun vil find it ezi tu understand ech oza. Ze drem of a united urop vil finali kum tru.

Und efter ze fifz yer, ve vil al be speking German like zey vunted in ze forst plas.

If zis mad you smil, pleas pas on to oza pepl.

I mean, religious people believe that they were put on this earth to do something or other. And atheists believe we just can from biological soup (the theories vary but I'm generalizing here). Anyways, does there have to be a point to it all? Does everyone and every action have a purpose?

Of course there is no real definite answer, so I'm just asking for your personal opinion.

Consider, if you would, that instead of telling his followers to go house to house, to spread his Father's teachings, even to the Jews, he told them to simply wait for others to come to them, where would we be today? Would Christianity be as spread out as it is, or would it have died out?

I absolutely HATE talking on the phone and consider it an intrusion, a necessary evil (I'm female). Even when you email someone about something their selling online, you both may exchange all necessary info on email, in like 2 seconds, and someone aaalllwwwaaayyyss says, "call me". Not. Why do people want to waste so much time bs'ing on a phone, when it can be dealt with in like 2 seconds in an email? I just refuse to do it. I always ignore that question in an email, and people are probably starting to think I have vision problems, lol!!

Jesus called himself "the son of man" and Peter called him the "son of the living God". Jesus' 3 year career consisted of attempting to explain to people what "the kingdom of heaven' was like. CS Lewis (author of Lion, Witch and Wardrobe) said that the son of a wolf is still a wolf.

This is an incredibly complex thing to explain, so I'm not going to try to too hard. But basically, I am no saying that we all have a fate that we are destined to fulfill, nor am I saying we have complete control over are actions. If you stop to think about what makes you act the way you do, can you find a concrete answer? Now those of you who are extremely relgious may answer with soul or some faith based response and really I am asking this question towards the more logic based thinkers out thier. I basically think of free will as non exsitent simply because every action i have ever done is caused from an action done to me, and that action was caused by an action done to it, and so on and so forth. And if something happens to me, lets say someone says hello, though i may be able to think of diffrent possible ways I could respond, I can only respond in one way, meaning that beacuse the person said hello, it triggered one and only one possible response from me given that scenario
