So I have to know, do women ever dream abotu doing porn? Seriously now; I hear that women are closely gaining on men when it comes to which gender buys the most porn movies. I have been told that women like to be wanted like the women in porn films. Would a woman ever do an amateur film just for fun without any stipulations? How do women react to someone propositioning them?

Why don't you post your ridiculous straight sex questions to the 99.999 percent of YA that is straight?

Why post it here?

Hmmm.

Well, I do dream of doing porn. In a perfect world, I would be directing porn (porn/erotica, actually) and occasionally starring in it (I say occasionally since in a perfect world, my body is also exactly the way I want it).

However, in a perfect world, I'd have sweet, loving, caring people to work with, and I'd get to do exactly what I wanted- scenes that I feel aren't so typical, so geared towards what men 'supposedly' want. Right now, while a lot of porn is very good to its actresses, it's still not necessarily a picnic.

So right now, I'd never do an amateur film. If I did, it would be with my lover/boyfriend/girlfriend/husband- the person I was with, not a stranger, just for my own comfort (I feel like that sort of thing has better on-screen chemistry anyways). I would gladly, right now, do a queer film, however, since I feel that sort of thing is sexual, but also political, in a way. And I'd love to do an 'educational' sort of thing, like Carol Queen in 'Bend Over Boyfriend' or the gals in 'How To F*** in High Heels". At the moment in time, although I think it's stupid to feel that way, I'd only want to star in movies that were directed by women, lesbian in nature (then definitely directed by women), or ones in which I intimately knew all the men involved and was convinced they were good guys.

I think I'm just weird, though: a lot of women would react to a proposition with a slap in the face. And when you say 'women like to be wanted like the women in porn films'- well, that's true, but I think that statement doesn't reflect their wanting to be in porn, but to be desired, to feel up to par with those ridiculously fake plastic bodies, to know that they are wanted and sexy. They don't just want to be pounded in front of a camera.

That's my two cents, at least.

I seriously doubt your sources. Women are NOT visual like men are...therefore "watching" porn is not going to do the same thing for them that it does for men...yes, it can be arousing to some extent, but not like men see it. Most women I know prefer the written word, the subtle approach in "porn." Hence the popularity of Gothic novels. Let's face it...being a model/actress in a porn movies may give a sense of empowerment, ask any stripper....but sexually, I really doubt that doing porn is a dream come true for most women. But then again, I am not a woman.

There are a lot who DON'T dream they do it. Look at the wide variety of films to choose from now a days. Just the little shop where I am has a wide selection. Other cities I visit have some stuff we don't have. Dang I would hate to see the complete selections of films.

So to keep that business in business, there have to be women to participate. And one other thing, I BARELY (excuse the pun) see the same women. I see the same men. The men are promoted because of their size.
