but if you dont believe in a god and it turns out that it is real, then woe unto you?
how many of you think that that is baloney? do you think that a god would punish people for choosing not to believe due to lack of evidence? why give people a choice in the first place, if there really is only one choice?
in my opinion, if there really is a god, then that god wont punish me just because i didnt believe.
of course, this kind of thinking sounds very bad to those who believe they will go to heaven. i mean, i bet they are thinking... "here i am, i believe in a god that i think is the only true god, and i know im going to go to heaven because i believe in my god, and yet, here are these non-believers who think they will get to go to heaven too. thats not right! they should suffer! they should be punished for not believing like i do! i say, no, they dont get to go to heaven, only i do!"
it just seems to me, though, that the choice to choose is more important.
