That way people can learn about other faiths, do some activities related to the other faith and share in valuable insight?

I want to a program once but could not get passed why do you wear a veil again... Mostly from Christians. LOL. I just really would love to learn something new not just go through bashing!

When I met we had Judaism, Hinduism, Sik, Christianity (like 5 denominations), Me as a muslim and Wicca (although must people started making fun of Wicca, I though it was not appropriate)

Definitely Sounds good. Sometimes views get distorted through things like the media so we don't really know what others believe and why.

Although a great idea, to further knowledge instead of ingorance and hate, it would be much like the Sunshine program instituted by the Koreas. Only a brief period of niceites before one side would go and do something stupid, and people have never and will never get along when it comes to religion because it is too personal.

I've been reading about the controversy in the UK about wearing veils. The plan is to ban them because they make Christians "uncomfortable." You can learn from the history of the Jews that the next step is to ban Muslims themselves!

They often just degenerate to a "lowest common denominator" event, and make the participants "feel good" about their "tolerance." In reality, nothing spiritual is achieved.

We don't need more dialog, we need to speak the truth in love, giving a reason for the hope in Jesus that we have. (I Peter 3:15)

What can one possibly hope to receive from such a venture? Understanding? We already understand that those without Christ are lost, and dead in their sins, just like we were before conversion.

Anything else is fluffy nonsense.

It will never work, because of A-rab dogs like mythkiller-zuba. He only desires muslim women to walk five paces behind him as he parades around in the Osama's Momma's pajamas. That boy is kinky.

I think most people would go just to ''push'' their own religions, and not learn about others. I have been in some of these exchanges.

Interfaith is a pagan invitation to everyone to come along and bring with them their gods in bags and wallets and pockets and introduce them to each other for the enjoyment of funseekers.

Amen or Ameeeeeen!

Faith.com is trying to do just that, I think. But there is something in what you say - there is some type of group forming, though the details seem hazy to me.

Peace!

I think we already know too much about the various faiths. That's why we doubt them all.
