I cant tell you how many people I hear on a daily basis that are sick of religion as a whole. Fairly or unfairly for those religions or believers not a part of Jihad the fact remains.

Has the global violence of the self righteousness and pathetically ignorant Jihadists started something that will eventually end all religion?

I mean, you can smell the disdain for these wacko cavepeople, and no doubt, all religion is thrown into the lump.

I am blessed to attend a friendly, yet non pressuring church.Yet countless people have told me that while visiting a church, no one was friendly and that some were even hostile.As a result, they never visited that church again.Christians, that should not be!We should extend welcome to everyone as Jesus did and invite them to come as they are.Forgive me for getting on my soapbox, but I just had to gently remind church goers to extend a warm welcome to your guests, even if you don't feel like it.We are called to lead others into the kingdom of God-it isn't all about us or what God can bless us with.We are also called to be a blessing to others. So please, this Sunday, thank the visitors for coming and ask them to come again.

Mother leaves her dog Anthony everything.
It just happened to my very best friend who is a mother of 4,and she is devastated .because she was very close to her Mother who died sudden from a car crash.And she thinks her mother would have changed her will Because she is now bankrupt after her baby needed very Exspensive life saving drugs and surgery......anyway the dog named Anthony is a six year old Pekineese and probably has at least 10 years left of life .after the dog pass (dies) the rest has to go to several animal charities . what do you think?

I don't get it, most black people today can get away with calling a white person a "cracker". But people start to pay attenion to white people calling a black person the N word. What gives? The term "cracker" is a very racist term. So is the N word. Truthfully i think that those two words shouldn't be used by anyone. Anyway i'm just wondering. Answers would be appeciated.

Yesterday, I saw an average weight mom with two obviously overweight daughters - our society would hold the mom responsbile for their weight BUT would we hold the parent responsible if s/he was overweight and the kids were thin (not overweight).

Why do you claim Christianity as "monotheist" when it's clearly "polytheist" beacuse you essencially have two gods: Jesus and God!?? Please don't say that Jesus is half-god or something and try to change your answer, beacuse I know for sure that you claim that Jesus is a god. So answer truthfully.

this friend of mine - she's older - thinks she is near dying, and she's very depressed because she doesn't believe that there is a good afterlife. She is not sure what to expect, but thinks that if there is any afterlife at all, there's no way of knowing that it would be good.

How can I help her not be depressed? I don't want to push my faith on her. But I want her to be peaceful and happy.

My name is Juniper, so I was thinking "Under the Juniper Tree" What do you think, or do you have a better idea?
What sort of things would you like to see a "New Age/Occult" shop have? Both in-store and online. I plan to have new, used, vintage and custom items ranging from robes and clothes to cauldrons and books and stuff from local artists and craftsmen. I want to be a little different from all the others and have a wider selection of inventory and prices.
